Still, he'd straightened up his skirt and gotten away from his needle and thread when he heard the chime indicating a new arrival. Something something First Mate greeting duties something.

Okay, so maybe it took him a bit to disengage, and maybe Pinkie will have gotten to her first, but still. All that does is give her time to get out of her room and explore. His smile is bright and simple when he approaches, offering a polite dip of his head.]
