Friends, lend me your ears. I had an idea a few days ago that won't leave my head, and the idea is this:

Fluff slug races. And fluff slugs on Roombas.

... I guess that's two ideas, technically. Anyway, would anyone be interested if I manage to train the little critters to move in a straight line?

The cleaning bots usually go after messes of their own accord, and sit idle the rest of the time. The slugs are just... sluggy. They slither around as they wish, sometimes to seek food or shelter. [As he spoke, Cameron went to suck up some slug ooze.]

Mmmm I see I see. And the slugs like lichen, right?

Yeah, that seems to be their food of choice. Whatever keeps them going- I wouldn't touch it myself.

Well, I've got a couple of ideas for different kinds of races!

For just slugs we could set up some tubes with a line of lichen and a HUGE pile for the finish line, or just one big tube if we want them playing with each other!

And for the roombas, we can set up lines of dirt for them to suck up, and we can put slugs on the roombas too with little seatbelts and helmets!

TUBES. That's a brilliant idea- that way they can't get off course or climb over the sides. Why didn't I think of that?

And dirt lines are a great idea, too- they're programmed to go after any dirt they find.

Yaaaay~! So where were you thinking of setting things up? Gotta make room for the tracks AND any spectators!

Somewhere off the beaten path... maybe in a clearing between two ships? I wouldn't want to set up in the middle of someone's village or something...

Ooh, yeah, on of the docks might work since it's one straight line, AND it's an open area so people can come watch!

Ahhh, and that way the aquatic slugs can participate, too. ... hey, I wonder if we could get someone to build them little rafts or jetskis...

Or give the roombas floaties!

Oh man, I'll have to talk to The Vision about that. I'm not sure the robots would like it, though...
