A bittersweet return; Video + Action
Who: Wanda Maximoff
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Starstruck
When: Right now
[At first, the scene appears to be a relatively familiar one. That is, the typical network broadcast of a new arrival to the fleet. A communicator's video feed broadcasting a slumbering figure curled up on a ship's cot. However, a second glance and one can easily tell that this not typical at all. Instead of the Marsiva's recognizably distinct interior, this feed seems to be coming from the bunkroom aboard one of the Fleet's smaller ships. In fact, crew members of the Starstruck may find the setting quite familiar looking indeed, along with anyone else that may have paid Wanda a visit in the past.]
[The sleeping figure stirs, waking from a deep slumber with a slow sit up and stretch. The communicator's camera focuses on the individual, as she quickly recognizes that something is amiss. Wanda Maximoff looks around, startled and confused to not find herself waking up in the room she'd been given in Wakanda. However, she soon begins to recognize the room. It's her room, her bunkroom aboard the SS Starstuck. And that could only mean...]
I'm back...
[The thought vocalized out loud, her tone sounding somewhat somber, yet also a tiny bit relieved. She swings her legs out of her cot, and pads her way over to her storage locker. Checking inside, she finds all of her trinkets, clothing, and other souvenirs that she'd picked up on previous planet visits. All of them in the exact place she had left them. A new outfit also noticeably present among the garments. Her fingers gently glide over each item, as the respective memories associated with each one float back to her.]
[A moment later, she closes the locker and turns her attention back to her room. She studies the interior, looking everything over.]
All exactly as I remember it.
[She then spies the communicator perched upon a shelf, optimally poised to capture her return. She walks over to it, picking it up and holding it out in front of herself. She looks ready to address the camera yet falters for a moment. A small frown on her face, and her eyebrows furrowed as she ponders what to even say, if she should even say anything at all. But only a moment later, her expression relaxes, and a small grin replaces the frown. Looking now more bemused and her tone more playfully sarcastic, she addresses the camera.]
It's been a while. What did I miss?

video;;
I was wondering if you were okay.
[ For many reasons. ]

[A small grin plays across her lips, before disappearing. She falters for a moment. Before she had gone home, she had only known and referred to him as Winter. Now, with everything that happened, it seemed only natural to call him by his name. Yet, even though Vision told her that he and Bucky had also regained memories of the Sokovia Accords and its aftermath, she can't help but worry if possibly she has toed a line by being so informal with him. She checks to see if she should correct herself and apologize.]
Or would you still prefer Winter?

His brows raise, a slight quirk at the corner of his lips. ]
Doesn't seem appropriate anymore, does it?

I suppose not.

Vision contacted me. He said that, so far, it has only been you two that have gained these new memories.
[It is not that Wanda doubts Vision's word, but a second confirmation would certainly be appreciated. Also, it'd be helpful to know how exactly she should treat the rest of the Avengers around the Fleet.]

[ It still feels a little too raw to be bringing it up to anyone else. He especially can't bring it up to Steve. God, and Stark is here, too..
He shakes his head slightly, attention back to Wanda. ]
What is the last thing you remember?

[She smiles at that. Pausing just slightly before continuing.]
And a little more after that. Arriving in Wakanda, but, after that, not much else.

[ But he's technically a criminal, and made the decision to go back on ice. Not much help, there. ]

Let's just say that you owe us one then.

[ He would have liked to touch base with all of them, but with everything still in his head, it's too much of a risk. ]

[She gives him another warm smile, before it begins to take on a more somber look.]
Are you going to be okay? Being here... [She sighs, knowing that this next question may not be what Bucky wants to hear or talk about.] out of cryo... with everything that has happened? That's in your head?
[She does sound worried for him. And she means it. She doesn't mean to imply that she considers him a threat or necessarily a danger.]

I've already had the foresight to set things in place. In case I lose control again.
[ He'll have to talk to Charles, to make sure everything is still in place, but at least he's a failsafe, too. ]

[Having only just recently remembered everything that happened during his loss of control here, Wanda tries to sound as comforting and sympathetic as she can, wanting to reassure Bucky that she was still on his side. Being back here changing nothing in that regard.]

[ The Atroma have clearly shown they don't give a rat's ass, and they'll do what they want. It's a good feeling, knowing that he's got two people in his corner he can trust. ]

So this new planet, is it worth visiting?
no subject
[ He gives her a grateful smile, though it's still quick to disappear. ]
The beach is nice and the market has a lot to look at.

There's a beach? Been catching some sun have you?

In a little bit, can we talk about everything back home? I know we'd both like to not bring it all with us here, but... to keep the others in the dark...
[Wanda's expression finishes that sentence for her. Clearly, it doesn't sit completely right with her.]

[ For the most part, he really doesn't agree about informing people about what went on- to an extent. The last time Steve was here, he told Bucky what would happen when he went back. How Insight failed, and that Steve had been looking for him for two years.
This feels a little more delicate than that. His mouth presses into a line as he considers everything. ]
Take your time.

Thank you.
