ᴀᴜᴅɪᴏ/ᴀᴄᴛɪᴏɴ | too bad, so sad
Who: Dezel and you
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Crowley's bar or the Huntress, whichever you prefer.
When: Now
[audio]
[Someone is definitely growling. You'd think he was a dog, but then he seems to form words. Every consonant sounds like a knife against stone.]
I'm staying away from the planet for a while. If anyone needs me—
[He hesitates.]
—too bad. [And he hangs up.]
[action]
[Despite his grumpy broadcast, Dezel can be found in certain places. One of them is Crowley's bar. He's invisible, but that doesn't stop him from cleaning glasses and making tiny, pretentious food. If you can't see him, it's like some invisible Christmas elf keeps leaving tarts everywhere.
Alternatively, he can be seen (or not seen) sulking in the Huntress' cargo bay, sitting on some boxes beside a window. In his lap is a fuzzy happy little slug that he strokes with due diligence.]
[ooc: If you're meeting Dezel in person and haven't done so, please fill out his seraph permissions!]

We've fought before. [A pause.] I was in a group, but we barely won. [Zaveid had been ridiculously strong. That was why Dezel coveted that gun, and why he used it when the Shepherd couldn't do anything to save Rose.]
Don't get me wrong-- he's obnoxious, too. [He stops stirring, checking the texture of the gelato. It's perfect, and since Crowley is hanging out there, Dezel is nice enough to spoon some into a bowl and slide it over.]

[He'll take a spoon and try some, making an approving noise and offering a thumbs-up. ]
Delicious as always. You're a true artist, Dezel. I'm glad I snagged you before Nami found you.

It is nice to have someone's approval. He already knew he could cook well, but he's the gruff kind of guy who doesn't welcome compliments.]
There's no need to butter me up. I like doing this. [There's a slight emphasis on like, easy to miss.]
Is that the owner of the other bar?

I have noticed.
[He nods.]
Yeah. It used to be Varric, but after he left she took over. She actually worked both bars, for a while. I don't think she slept for like...three months.
no subject
She worked at both? Isn't that bad for business?
[Working at both means she could be dishonest, but maybe that's not such a big deal up here. Who would be stupid enough to cheat a demon, even a nice one like Crowley? ... Yeah.]

[He gives a grin.]
Everything is down the middle. We share like that. No point making an actual rival business in the middle of space after all.
no subject
Sounds like a decent arrangement.
[He begins spooning the gelato into tiny cups made of chocolate.]

[You've got to have SOME sort of entertainment while you're stuck floating around in space. ]

[... Is there any kind of attention that Crowley doesn't like?
no subject
[Except when people say he's a good guy. Those people can go fuck themselves.]
