I wanted to let anyone who may be interested that I've transferred ships from the Huntress to the Golden to be with a friend who recently arrived in the Fleet.

[but that isn't the only reason she made this broadcast. she's curious about something as well.]

I know others have mentioned there is a spot in this planet that will provide one important item to you. I was wondering what others have received. I think it would be interesting to hear about.

That is true enough, though. I've enjoyed the time I've spent out there.

[Don't expect Gendry to claim he's a crewman of the ship except perhaps under duress, but he does make his occasional appearances on board. Today he'd only come to rummage in the kitchen, but ended up spending a good two hours in the engine room because of that slight little problem he heard when he came on board.

So now he was crossing the ship, dirty and covered in grease, only to stop when he saw a girl pop out of nowhere. This wasn't that unusual, really. It was something else that caught his interest. He pointed at the pudding.]

Where do you get those?

[she glances up at him before glancing at the pudding with a self conscious smile]

Oh, I wouldn't know. It just appeared in my hands, much as I just appeared here. But... [holding it out] I'm not very attached to it, if you'd like it.

[Well alright then. Gendry takes it, sniffs it, and then dips a finger inside to pull it out. Civilized, he is not.]

Thanks. [He tastes it, nods approvingly, then gives her a once over.] New, eh?

[she is, at least, fairly used to this kind of behavior, so apart from a slight tightness to her smile, there's no visible reaction.]

Not new, no. A friend of mine recently arrived on this ship, and I decided to transfer from the Huntress to be near to her.

Hm. [Mild disapproval shows in his raised eyebrows.] You sure that was wise?

[It's nothing against her, but... well, he's not so sure about this ship.]

Oh, hello. [ the green girl, short black hair uncovered but pulled back from her face, makes a sweeping gesture, meant to indicate the confetti. ] You've just arrived on board, I take it?

[ she curtsies in return, glad for someone else around that greets that way. ]

I take it you're already familiar enough with the fleet, then?

[a nod, and a pause to determine just how long it's been.]

Yes, I've been here for just over half a year.

Then you're probably more settled than I am, even with the confetti. I've only been here... just about two weeks, I believe.

[ At first, there's Lauralae's face, and then - then there's a moment of quiet before she turns the camera. Sleeping beside her is the tiniest, cutest wolf puppy. ]

[a small intake of breath, pleased, as she smiles.]

He looks very sweet. What will you name him?

[ This is awkward; Lauralae is desperately unused to speaking with people and, so, she leaves the camera on the wolf for now. ]

I do not know. I think I will wait to speak to a... Friend and perhaps name him then.
