[So... is the whole stuffing-information-in-your-head somebody's Quirk? Because it's an especially scary one, if that's the case. Ochako can't help poking at the back of her neck, feeling for the augment, with an increasing level of alarm as she wanders through the ship she'd woken up in. The communicator gripped tightly in her hands has been all but useless, too- she's tried to call all the numbers she knows by heart, but they won't connect to anyone familiar. She really does appear to be alone in the middle of nowhere. And- okay, she's always liked space and the sky and stars and whatnot- sort of comes hand in hand with gravity control, she figures. But she didn't expect to ever go there. Certainly not without someone who knows what they're doing.

The communicator keeps flashing at her, though, so eventually she braves sending a message to the masses in the hopes of finding some familiar - or at least friendly - faces. Let's... try smiling...! Yes!]

So, um. That. Sure is a lot of space out there, haha!

I guess nobody out there's got a convenient Quirk that can send me home, huh?

No, I understand. The last time I was on a ship like this, I was living with hundreds of people. It still felt too big and lonely sometimes.

[And they didn't even have the option of sometimes going down onto a planet.]

Eh!? You lived with hundreds on a ship?

[Granted, the ship she's on now is big, but it's also very empty. Her voice keeps bouncing off the walls, and it's weird.]

[Okay,so hundreds might have been a small exaggeration, but not by that much.]

Military ship. We also took on some civilian refugees, eventually.

[There's a brief moment where he looks....uncomfortable? But then it's gone in a flash, and he just shakes his head.]

Was. I haven't been home in a while.

[Yeah, that's the reason he's no longer with the military.]

Let's see... I feel like I already know a lot because of the augment or whatever it is, but some of the details are fuzzy. It's... a reality show? So we just have to try and make ourselves popular, and we'll get something out of it?

[Those shows are pretty commonplace back home, so she more or less knows the gist of things, but actually living it? Yikes.]

That's what people are saying, at least. I haven't been here long enough to find out if being popular really brings in rewards.

Though I have seen a couple broadcasts about people getting crates of things. Maybe from viewers. I'm not sure how how much of a reward they were.

I guess that's the hope... I mean, it's why people are doing their best here, right? So they can find a way back?

Well, it is reality TV. So it makes sense for someone to eventually be a winner.
