When: Afternoon to late evening
( ANONYMOUS TEXT: )
What should you do if someone you have never met -- never in your life -- hates you? What should you do if they are rude and horrible and ill-mannered and they won't tell you why?
I have done bad things. I know I have. But nothing to deserve this.
( ACTION: )
[ when she isn't indulging in her very self-centered sort of misery, sansa is aboard the blue fish. she has finally decided to make a brave attempt to decorate the door to her room, and so far has only managed to paint the bone-white bark of what will eventually be a tree.
and then -- well after the hour when she ought to have been in bed -- sansa does something unanticipated. unexpected. she takes a shuttle all by herself! and she lets it pilot her back to the iskaulit, where she walks the halls with slow and careful purpose until she arrives at the garden. she makes a seat for herself far from the door, and she breathes in the smell of soil and plant-life. already, and despite its bewitching magicks, she misses the well-wooded planet so recently departed. ]

Maybe they're confused? I know that I've had mixed feelings about people that didn't deserve it, and it took me a long time to come to terms with how I felt.

Or you might confront them. You must also consider the possibility that they are correct. Everyone is the knight in armour in their own mind, this person might see something you don't.
no subject
I know I am no knight. [ figurative or otherwise. ] But I consider myself mannerly. If I knew what offence I caused, I would apologize for it.
But they won't say.

So when Jon chances on Sansa inside the garden, it's Ghost who approaches first, bumping up against her ankle in a bid to steal some affection. Jon stands some ways away, clad in a tunic so dark brown it may as well be black.]
I thought you'd be asleep by now.
[action]
[ she speaks honestly -- her words sound raw, as though she might have been crying. but no other outward signs persist. indeed, sansa finds it within herself to smile as she buries her fingers deep into ghost's fur. she kneels and inhales the wolfish scent off his neck, pleased to be close to a direwolf again. ]
Why aren't you asleep?

yeah i know what thats like but if youve done bad things do you stand behind them or would you change them if you could that could be what they hate you for even if you think it wasnt that bad maybe it was bad to them

Having never known each other before the fleet, how should they know whether I have been bad or not? They won't say. It's confusing.

Personally, I found getting defensive and angry only makes things worse. I generally try to see or ask if there is something I can do to make up for whatever it might be that I've done.
If there isn't- [And almost always there isn't for the things he gets blamed for.] - then I will try to give them the space they need.
Its not easy being disliked for something you didn't do, but sometimes you just can't change someone's mind.

his arm full of art supplies, he stumbles on to a girl so miserable he could almost feel it tug him away from the earthiness of his meditative walk in the garden. spurred by thoughts of his wife and the kindness she always embodies, he presents the flower he picked to sansa. ]

she should have known better.
sansa rushes to her feet, brushing soil and leaves off her skirts. she curtsies before she takes the flower. and if she recognizes him from previous sightings -- at a distance, walking with ahsoka, anything like that...? well, she gives no indication. ]
