[When Jennifer opens the feed, a very canine whine can be heard in the background, and Jennifer reaches back to soothe Naga and offer her a squeaky Flootemon toy that looks suspiciously like Beartic before speaking.]

So, uhm, does anyone know how to take care of a polar bear dog? Korra's in cryosleep, and I think Naga's feeling upset and restless without her. I've never had so much as a normal puppy before, so I don't know the first thing about dog care, much less... polar bear dog care. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Oh, gosh, can you imagine being the parent of a kid who can control water? Especially at bath time.

Haha! Yeah! If the kid doesn't want to take a bath and keeps moving the bath water? I wonder how they'd manage.

Oh yeah! Snow is frozen water! I'd definitely want to be on their team in a snowball fight!

Or when playing hockey. It'd probably be considered an unfair advantage.

I haven't played hockey before. Do you throw snow or water at each other?

It's a game played by skating on a frozen lake or an ice rink. You carry long sticks and try to knock a puck into the opponent's goal. If you could manipulate water, it'd be easy to knock the puck around or trip your opponents.

I see what you mean. Although, I wonder if everyone playing can control water what happens if they all try to control the same water.

I wonder if the winner is decided by whatever team manages to get one point.

Yeah, winning doesn't sound very appealing if you're injured to get it.

True. Usually hockey players wear helmets and pads to take some of the risk away.

That's good that they have some protection at least.

I think I'm pretty well covered on that point, and my shipmates are going to help out, too. So I'm good.

Yeah... I can't imagine how disorienting it is to wake up after being asleep for weeks.

Me either. More so because you can feel like you've been gone for a lot longer than a couple weeks.

Yeah, I've heard about that happening- though I've never experienced it before myself. Sometimes I wish I COULD go home in some sense, even for a few weeks...

Still, if I had to be whisked away to somewhere this place hasn't been too bad. I've heard some people talk about some pretty terrible places.

Company has been excellent at least.

I'll second that. I don't want to say this has become another home, but... as a temporary diversion from my life, we definitely could have done worse. We have a roof over our heads and food to eat and get to visit plenty of interesting places.
