[ The video feed shakes, the audio cracking as the communicator is moved around. The broadcasting image so far is the floor, covered in multicolored confetti, and a pair of black and grey running sneakers in view. The left foot taps impatiently before the video swings again to the bridge of the Bloodsport. ]

[ There is a sigh before heavily accented voice accompanies the shoddy cameraman-ship. ] If this is someone's idea of a prank, it lacks humor.

[ The communicator finally turns around, and Pietro is very firmly not happy with this situation. ]

I have complaints.

[ SS Bloodsport;; ]
[ Pietro can be found in various places throughout the Bloodsport. In the kitchen, trying to figure out what the deal with protein paste is. The bridge offers a bit of a distraction with the endless sea of stars or the array of broadcast settings, and how can he resist settling into the bunks? It's been a very long time since he's had his own room. ]

[ Another sight for sore eyes, really. At the very least, Vision is getting closer to the person he truly wants to see. He's no Wanda, but they'd both aided him. ]

Vision, I heard that you were here, too. I am on the Bloodsport. Where are you?

[ Where is Wanda? Tony said she was on the Starstruck with someone they can trust. Is it the Vision, or someone else? ]

I'm captain of the Windrose, and you're most welcome to visit at any time. Mr. Stark is on the Pathstone, Agent Romanoff is on the Vanquish, and Captain Rogers and your sister are both on the Starstruck.

[Which he might or might not already know, but it's a good summary; he leaves out Sam and Peggy because he doubts Pietro knows who they are.]

So she is with Captain Rogers. I was wondering who Stark deemed she would be safe with. Have you been here long, Captain Vision?

[...Tony why. His tone is a little sharper than it was before.] Wanda is perfectly capable of assuring her own safety, as I'm sure you're aware.

[And then it softens back to normal as he reins himself in.] I've been here just over a year, actually. Most of the others arrived recently, but both Wanda and I have been on the ships far longer.

[ Oh, he's fully aware of just how capable his sister is. Pietro does pick up on the edge in Vision's voice, raising an eyebrow. ]

I know better than anyone just how powerful my sister is.

[ ..Huh. ] An entire year? This place keeps you that long?

[ What just a goddamn minute.. She's been without him? He can't even imagine what it would be like to be without her for a year.. For Wanda? It must be horrible. ] Wanda has been here that whole time?

[He nods, mollified; he doesn't have to defend her to Pietro, of all people.]

It does. Some have been here longer, though many only stay a few months. ["Only? Perhaps he should clarify.] It's rarely shorter than a month or two, in fact.

Yes. She--well, I'm sure she'll contact you as soon as she's able with the details, but suffice it to say you're a very welcome sight.

[ Rarely shorter than two months? She and Vision have been here for a year.. God, how many people have been here even longer? He doesn't like this. ]

I'm glad I'm here now, at least. I don't intend to leave her again.

[That gets a genuine smile from him. Wanda deserves to have people around who care about her, and Pietro is the best choice he can think of.]

Very good. You may be able to transfer to her ship, if you like, provided there's enough space. [And blinks, as if the word "space" reminds him.] Ah, speaking of which, has the situation here been explained to your satisfaction?

[ Honestly, it doesn't matter if there is space enough or not. He needs to be close to Wanda, and if he has to transfer to a ship without space? They've dealt with cramped quarters before. ]

I will transfer. [ Not an option. ]

I have heard several things about it. I'm sure experience will be a part of it.

[He nods - the capacity problems of a few months ago were solved by a series of upgrades, so he'd be surprised if there wasn't room for him anyway. And there's no doubt Wanda will want to be close to him, as well.] You should be able to find the paperwork easily enough.

The largest part, yes. Still, if you've any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I count Wanda as a friend, and I'd be honored to do the same with you.

Thank you, Vision. I am glad someone has been able to keep an eye on my sister in my absence.

[ And will continue to do so after his death. The bonds that Wanda has made on her own are important to Pietro. Anyone who improves her quality of life is an ally, even if he is a little envious of them. ]

[Has he been told of that already? Because the Vision is never going to be the one to bring it up. Nope.]

It's been a pleasure, for the most part. She's a remarkable person--both of you are. I'd appreciate the chance to get to know you better as well.

[ Wanda is amazing, Vision doesn't have to tell him that. He doesn't know what will happen aside defeating Ultron. ]

There should be plenty of time for it here.

[Good. One shock at a time is enough for Pietro. And--he doesn't doubt Wanda will tell him eventually, but he wants her to be ready for it.]
