The bridge offers a bit of a distraction with the endless sea of stars or the array of broadcast settings, and how can he resist settling into the bunks? It's been quite an eventful day, so taking a nap in his bunk before exploring a bit more isn't really out of the question, is it? He's nearly to sleep when there's an extra weight displacing the balance of the bed and warmth at his back.

A hand flies to her mouth, tears begin to well up in her eyes, and it takes everything she has to stay standing, to not buckle from the tidal wave of emotion she's currently feeling. Immediately, she tries to call out to him with her mind. Ever since getting their abilities, their link had become stronger. It gave the two of them the ability to know where the other was and sense how they were feeling. Whether it had been Wanda's powers or perhaps a whole new ability they shared, it left a stark feeling of absence within Wanda for a long time now. While the connection is not nearly as strong as it used to be, she can feel something there. Like, the faintest hint of warmth from a candle flickering in the distance.
And that confirms it for her, the hand drops, a smile of unmistakable joy appears on her face, as the tears continue to fall. She takes a moment, a few deep breaths to steady herself. She wipes away the tears, and she turns on her video feed. When she does, it is plainly evident on her face that she has been crying, but she keeps her voice level, calm, like it always used to when they conversed.]
For someone so fast, you are awfully late. Pietro.
[Her voice cracks somewhat at his name, but she tries to recover. Not breaking, not yet.]

Seeing his sister's face is like a breath after being submerged. Even though they're not face-to-face, which he loathes, he can see for himself that Wanda is in one piece. She can't, however, hide her sadness from him. His smile quickly turns into a concerned frown. She's been so long without him, he aches to make her pain go away. ]

Steve takes a moment to really just look at the feed for a moment. it's as if Pietro had zoomed out of a memory to have taken form, flesh and blood, alive and well and Steve is no stranger to seeing those who he had thought dead but the wind is still knocked out of him. it almost feels like a mask knocked off, revealing Bucky beneath, almost like Peggy's voice the moment he appeared her, her presence in his reach. he is relieved, he is awe-struck.
