Always a sidekick, never a superhero. [ a sigh. as cool as superpowers are, though, he's totally ok with this. the tastes of danger he's had were more than enough for him. he's not kara, he can't live the way she does, he still prefers running away from danger. ]

Well, you're really protective. It just seems natural that you'd have more defensive powers.

I'd love defensive powers.

[ they'd allow him to defend himself and not put everyone he loves in harm's way as he calls them to save him. ]

I mean, you're already really clutch with helping out with things and building things and learning alien languages and stuff. I'm not sure you need powers.
