It's always interesting to come across an isolated planet or system such as yours. What type of weapons has your planet managed to develop?

[He's not going to ask Winter for those details.] And there is no need to be concerned, I don't have the resources for another superweapon here. My interest is purely academic in this case.

Nothing that has the capacity to destroy an entire planet, but they are weapons of mass destruction. Bombs, guns. Aircrafts. Soldiers..

It depends upon the country and their focus of advancement. [ Bucky raises an eyebrow at him. ] For your sake, it had better stay as an academic interest.

[ More of a promise than a threat, but said casually. He could be joking, buuuuuut. Probably not. You did destroy an entire planet without batting an eye. ]

Countries? You have more than one dominant fraction on the planet?

[Hux raised his eyebrows, not looking the least bit concerned. He was sure it was a threat but he doubted Winter was going to attack him right this moment.]

I have no reason to destroy these planets and moons after all.

There are almost two hundred countries. Some are more developed than others. The more economically and technologically advanced countries are world leaders and have sway. It's..convoluted.

[ Hux isn't a threat at the moment, so right now it's fine. But just so he knows in the future. ]

Right, there's no benefit in it for you.

And there is no global government to keep them in line? How does your planet function?

[Winter, your planet is weird.]

Nor is there really any benefit for the First Order to simply destroy random planets or star systems. I didn't chose the Hosnian System at random.

Each country has their own government and leaders. There's an organization with members from other countries. The intention is to make sure wars don't get started.

[ And then there are groups like HYDRA who make super soldiers in secret to take out people who stand in the way of things. ]

And how well does that work for your planet?

[He's always curious about more primitive planets though he usually didn't have time to learn much about them before they were brought under First Order rule with all that entailed.]

It has its ups and downs. Not everyone is going to agree.

[ There's so much more to it, but now isn't the time for an economics lesson. ]

There might be a book in the library on the Iskaulit about it.

That's true, not even the Empire was without conflicts among the systems.

What is the name of your planet and star system?

The Solar System. It's in the Milky Way Galaxy. The planet is Earth. I'm not sure how much they'll even have, but they seem to have books from different places everyone comes from.

Interesting, I'll have to look for it then when I'm next there.

Is the library composed of materials brought by those here in the fleet?

I'm not really sure. It was already there when I got here a year ago. But you can borrow books and return them at will.

Actual books with papers? [He's never been in a library like that before, it will be a new experience for him at least.]

I've only seen a few actual books on paper before, it's not common.

Most of the books here are on paper. There are some files available on the network, though.

Do you know what kind of files? [He doubted he would find any records from his galaxy that he hadn't already seen and he wasn't sure what else he would find from other worlds but he would still investigate it. He had more free time on his hands than he was comfortable with.]

There's a link on your communicator. There are audio and text files from different worlds. I think there's a game, too.

[He slipped out the communicator, he had only glanced at it really since he considered it, well, primitive and the network wasn't secure.]

A game? I suppose I'm not surprised though, given how little we are able to do. [He looked amused, raising his eyebrows. He would never admit that even he may have a couple of hologames on his own datapad. Sometimes he needed something to do while ignoring Ren.]

The game isn't that bad. A good way to waste an hour. It gets easier, finding things to do.

[ Sure, he's been here for over a year, but others have been here even longer. Easy enough to try and settle in for lord knows how fucking long. ]

Is that how you pass the time then? I've never had idle time before arriving here. [He checked out a few of the files, opening the game briefly before turning the communicator off.]

I suppose there is little to do on the ship, even for the captain.

I try to catch up on things I've missed. Picked up some hobbies.

Easy enough to do between taking care of things.

So it seems- a ship with a crew of 8 is simple enough.

[He misses his star destroyer so much. Finalizer had been his home for the last 5 years.]

Between planets, there's not much to do. The fleet being attacked was a rare and brief occurrence.

[ He misses being busy as much as the next guy, but in the interim, actually being able to enjoy the free time is nice. ]

The fleet was attacked? Why whom? Or what? [Now this was interested.]

September of last year. Just after I arrived. A fleet opposed to this one. It's apparently happened once before, as well, though I wasn't present for it.

Just a random fleet? No information on what race these aliens belonged to? What did the ships look like?

I don't suppose you would know anything about the weaponry the other fleet had, that would help to see what I could do for this ship so it's better prepared. [But honestly his personal shuttle was more advanced than this ship it seemed.]
