[When Al begins the broadcast, he's at a set of wooden furniture he made himself at the previous planet he's set up in the Vanquish, making himself a mini workshop of sorts. He smiles shyly before speaking.]

Well, it seems like people in this star system take their factions very seriously... so I thought I'd offer to make clothing for people from my alchemy, in case you decide to ally yourself with one of them. I can make it for any color scheme you want, as long as you can provide me with the raw materials! I'd hate for someone to get in trouble if they don't blend in. ... or be overcharged, like I was when I went to dinner earlier.

Mmhmm- and it could be dangerous being caught in the wrong faction's territory, seems like. I mean, even if you're not from this system like Fleet members are, they still seem to like it when you conform.

Fabric, thread, and anything needed to make buttons or zippers or the like would be all I need. I can take the basics and shape them into whatever you request.

The danger does not concern me so much as the sticking out. I'd prefer to not draw unwanted attention when possible. If that means wearing certain colors, then so be it.

So you would just need the materials as if you were making the garment from scratch? What about the color?

Blending in is definitely a good thing. Being unnoticed can work to your advantage sometimes.

Color is something I can't change easily- so if you, say, needed a red vest, I'd need red fabric for it. Otherwise, yes, I'd just need your measurements and everything I'd need if I were sewing it by hand.

I see. Hmmm...

[Wanda ponders this for a moment. She supposes she'll have to acquire some materials then planet-side, as she does not actually have any colored fabric on hand. She also wasn't so sure she wanted any of her current clothing scraped for materials that would only go into making clothing that she likely was not planning on wearing beyond this current planetary system.]

I suppose purchasing the materials would be cheaper than buying the clothing itself. How much time will you need to fashion everything?

It can happen in an instant. Alchemy is pretty handy like that.

Well, that is handy. What do you charge as a maker's fee?

Whatever you feel is fair. I'm not in desperate need of cash, so I'd even work for free.

Free? You sure you want to give a girl that window?

[She grins teasingly.]

[Al laughed.]

I do try to be a gentleman.

Gentleman, perhaps. Businessman, not so much.

I still have a lot to learn on that front, looks like.

[Wanda smiles. Don't worry Al, she won't take advantage of you... too much...]

[Wanda's about to turn off her feed there but instead reconsiders. Her curiosity enticing her to ask:]

Would you mind if I watched you do it sometime? Your alchemy?

[Realizing how that might come across, she clarifies:]

It is not that I do not trust the quality of your work. It is more that... well, I would just like to see how it is done.

Of course, I'd be happy to let you see it.

[Wanda gives Al an appreciative smile.]
