[When Al begins the broadcast, he's at a set of wooden furniture he made himself at the previous planet he's set up in the Vanquish, making himself a mini workshop of sorts. He smiles shyly before speaking.]

Well, it seems like people in this star system take their factions very seriously... so I thought I'd offer to make clothing for people from my alchemy, in case you decide to ally yourself with one of them. I can make it for any color scheme you want, as long as you can provide me with the raw materials! I'd hate for someone to get in trouble if they don't blend in. ... or be overcharged, like I was when I went to dinner earlier.

Ah, I see. And honestly, I can see the appeal of going shirtless all the time. My friend Major Armstrong tended to lose his shirt when he was flexing his muscles a lot.

Granted he could just ask his friends, but he's always been a do it himself sort of guy, and he doesn't exactly want to have a discussion with Anders about why he needs to go to Spirit's libraries and Savvy's hunting grounds AND Moxie's competitions.

That should be doable, yes! I'd need to take your measurements first, but alchemy is still much faster than sewing by hand.

Actually, if you up for doing more of that alchemy thing- I got the material to make some furniture on the last planet, but I'm useless with it. Are you still interested in making chairs like we talked about?

Absolutely! I got a lot of practice with transmuting wood on that planet, so I think I'm getting pretty good at it.

Awesome! I'll give you directions to the room with the materials on the Iskaulit, then. I'm not really picky about what they look like, but if you need a specific design, I can ask someone for help with that.

Sounds good! I tend to make things look simple and straightforward- not much in the way of gaudy embellishments. That's more Brother's style.

I may have to take you up on that offer. Everything I have is... well, heavily favoring one color. And from what I've already gathered of the faction that particularly sports it, I do not see myself really fitting in.

Though, you may have to be more specific about the "raw materials" you need.

Mmhmm- and it could be dangerous being caught in the wrong faction's territory, seems like. I mean, even if you're not from this system like Fleet members are, they still seem to like it when you conform.

Fabric, thread, and anything needed to make buttons or zippers or the like would be all I need. I can take the basics and shape them into whatever you request.

The danger does not concern me so much as the sticking out. I'd prefer to not draw unwanted attention when possible. If that means wearing certain colors, then so be it.

So you would just need the materials as if you were making the garment from scratch? What about the color?

Blending in is definitely a good thing. Being unnoticed can work to your advantage sometimes.

Color is something I can't change easily- so if you, say, needed a red vest, I'd need red fabric for it. Otherwise, yes, I'd just need your measurements and everything I'd need if I were sewing it by hand.

Yeah, I had on more neutral colors, so I think they realized I'm not from around here and hadn't committed to one group yet.

That's not a bad idea, actually- noticeable, but still easily changed.

Yes, cloth would be all if it's just a simple armband. Actual clothes and accessories would need buttons, zippers, and so on.

Yeah, I don't want to get involved in any conflicts myself- but I figure if anyone wants to in order to reap the benefits, I should help them.
