[actionlog] OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUT

Who: Lilly and poor unfortunate souls
Broadcast: NONE I'M TOO MAD!!!
Action: E V E R Y W H E R E (...Wonderduck and Iskaulit especially, in bars, garden, and library... anywhere, really)
When: NOW

LILLY IS NOT HAPPY.

The moment she woke up on the Marsiva she was a wild angry mess of yelling and hissing and spitting. Because she was supposed to be with Makie, supposed to be around trees and forest and life and not strange metal worlds. Getting transferred to the Wonderduck is... not any better. She runs on all fours with a howl of indignant anger —

And anyone on the Wonderduck is forced to endure, uh...

A yelling, angry creature. If you expected your current engineer to be nice, I hate to tell you, um... She's throwing space food at the walls. Knocking down breakables. Kicking over chairs. Powder, floating through the air, coating her hair and her pajamas and the counters. She runs all throughout the ship before she manages to get to... the Iskaulit. How did she get here? When? Wouldn't you like to know.

You'll find a few things.

a.) You'll find yourself feeling... followed. There's nothing that you can see, but there's a distinct sound of... breathing? And then something darting past your peripheral, perhaps. If you're brave enough to go into the area containing the garden, you'll find the lights all off, as if someone couldn't stand them and their brightness.

And if you're especially unlucky, you can turn on the lights or use your communicator as a light to see this twitching figure:

IIIIEEIIIEEEEEE—!

b.) Or! Maybe you'll find her in angry mode. She's rushed into the library and one of the bars and is probably throwing around bottles and flinging books. What's she screaming the whole time? Maybe you'll even somehow find this strange, strange child on your ship. God have mercy on your soul if she figures the buttons out enough to rush around trying to find an exit. Or at least one can assume that's what she's looking for, because she keeps yelling angrily:

"OUT, OUT, OOOOUT!!"

... Maybe she, idk, wants out.

... Have fun.

Good girl. Renart will lead the way through the vent, since she needs to break open the grating on the other end as well. Easy enough for a fox who also happens to be a completely magical folk tale protagonist, and it does indeed lead into a kitchen-y area attached to one of the bars. She isn't actually sure which but that doesn't really matter, does it? Whoever owns the place won't miss some scraps of food disappearing! Probably. She isn't actually concerned about whoever owns the food in the kitchen.

Trotting over to the fridge she manages to work it open with her paws, and she proceeds to start yanking food off the shelves and onto the floor, searching and sniffing for cherries.

She'll keep an eye on her in the midst of wrecking the place, just in case Lilly gets her hands on something that is obviously not meant for human consumption. Renart may never have that issue herself, but she's been around people long enough to have a fairly good idea of what is edible for them and what can make them sick.

If Lilly does indeed come across anything bad it's getting batted away from her immediately and replaced with something more appealing and not dangerous. She might be a lazy, good-for-nothing troll most of the time but she makes a good stand-in parent.

This is one baby duck she has no desire to chomp down on, so it's all good. And cute. And really nostalgic, it's been a while since she had a child following her around like this. All in all it's very fun, stealing food from someone else to give it to someone worthwhile. She feels like Robin Hood.

"If you insist," she replies, gekkering in amusement before working a jar of peanuts open so that they can both dig in.

Oh. Nope. She knows what kind of reaction she's going to get, so she pauses her eating in order to try and deshell a peanut. Not particularly easy when she's working with teeth and claws rather than fingers, but she'll manage it.

"You have to open them up first. The shell doesn't taste good," she says, nudging the opened peanut towards Lilly with her nose.

"I do, don't I? It's because you humans make such tasty food," Renart replies, her ears twitching before she turns back to the fridge. She continues to speak as she digs through it. "It feels respectful to eat it like a human - ah!"

A moment later she's climbing down, a jar in her mouth.

A jar of maraschino cherries in syrup. Delicious.

"Mm." Renart nods, tilting her head, eyeing the jar. Hands would be much easier here, but....

She latches onto the lid with her teeth, awkwardly twisting it until it pops open. She has to be careful about that, not wanting to break the jar and send glass everywhere, but once she's gotten it open she sits back. "There you go. All for you."

A human might find the messiness offputting, but she dealt with litters of fox kits and they're far from clean things, so she just sits back all proud of herself. Yep, this is one happy kid.

"Hm? If you don't mind," she says, stepping forward to snap up the cherries, then proceed to lick the syrup off Lilly's hand like a dog.
