{Elf invasion! Fingon nearly bounces as he moves into his new room, though he doesn't stay long. He's not visited this ship before, having gone to the Bishop most mornings to help Maedhros.

He's determined to learn all about his new ship though. But first? To the kitchen! What better way to introduce himself than by cooking and baking for his new crewmates? Just as he had when he'd first arrived on the Paisley, he set about making stew and a few trays of chocolate cookies.

He might be singing cheerfully.

Don't mind the glowy Elf? He's just happy and hopeful.}

[Sora totally noticed the increased amount of activity on the ship today. There were a lot of people he didn't recognize. Which...didn't bother Sora in the least! It gives him a chance to meet new people and make friends after all!]

[So while Fingon is cooking, Sora will poke his head into the kitchen]

Hey, smells good!

[valiantfire]

{Can anyone blame Fingon for being happy? So many new people! New things to learn! He's still learning how to work certain things, and the Paisley had had a few less things in its kitchen to work with than the Huntress.}

Do you want to taste? Stew is only better when more than just the cook tastes along the way!

[Well Sora doesn't mind the happy! Or the offer of stew. In fact he is not at all concerned of taking offered food from strangers!!]

Really? Sure! I'd like to try some!

[valiantfire]

{But Fingon is fluffy sparkle Elf! He's not going to hurt anyone unless they hurt his family first.

He smiles and scoops up a small bit of stew and holds the spoon out to Sora.}

I'm Fingon, the new cook assigned here.

[Sora will gladly take the spoon and eat the spoonful.]

Zmla- [Wait, swallow!] Nice to meetcha! I'm Sora! Stew's pretty good too!

Well met, Sora! I'm glad you enjoy it. It should only get better!

So what brings you to the Huntress, Fingon?

Family. {Such a simple answer, but that's all it is. Fingon picks out a few cookies before taking a seat, offering the plate to Sora.}

Have you been here long?

(He cannot quite contain his joy over sharing a ship with so much of his family. Fingon will have to endure a much happier looking Maedhros as he too wanders about the ship.)

You needn't travel so far every morning. Our quarters are close.

[valiantfire]

{A happy Maedhros means an even happier Fingon. He grins up at his cousin.}

I would travel longer each morning if it meant helping you! But it is nice to be close again. {It had been far too long since they lived so near.}

(It is impossible for him to not wrap one arm around the smaller Elf's shoulders.)

I know you would. (He rests his cheek on top of Fingon's head.) What will a ship that sails through the stars do with so many Elves onboard?

{Fingon hugs Maedhros, leaning against his dearest friend.}

Shine! Perhaps we appear almost as a star to the planets we pass by?

There is only one way to tell. We must ask. (It would be an interesting project.) Will you visit new worlds with me?

[valiantfire]

You know I will. You won't get rid of me here, Maitimo!

[castintoflames]

Do I wish to be rid of you? I should think it would be the other way around, cousin.

[valiantfire]

If I ever wished to not have you near, I would not have acted as I have.

{Fingon wouldn't have followed his father and cousins to Middle-Earth, nor would he have flown Thorondor to rescue Maedhros from Morgoth.}

(Maedhros rests his lips against the top of Fingon's head, expression nothing but affectionate.)

{Fingon smiles softly, leaning against his cousin.}

I will remind you whenever you have need to hear it again.

(He shakes his head softly.)

Just keep yourself safe.

I'm glad my augment is for cooking.

[castintoflames]

As am I. My augment will easily protect you.

(At his side, there is a small gun and he pulls it out, showing it to Fingon.)

The weapons are fascinating.

{Fingon reaches to touch the gun, curious.}

Then I am safe. {He'd had no doubts even before.}

(The safety is on just in case. He gently shows Fingon how to hold it.)

I should worry more for the one who attempts to harm you.

{Fingon trusts Maedhros completely. He has no fear.}
