{Elf invasion! Fingon nearly bounces as he moves into his new room, though he doesn't stay long. He's not visited this ship before, having gone to the Bishop most mornings to help Maedhros.

He's determined to learn all about his new ship though. But first? To the kitchen! What better way to introduce himself than by cooking and baking for his new crewmates? Just as he had when he'd first arrived on the Paisley, he set about making stew and a few trays of chocolate cookies.

He might be singing cheerfully.

Don't mind the glowy Elf? He's just happy and hopeful.}

[Sora totally noticed the increased amount of activity on the ship today. There were a lot of people he didn't recognize. Which...didn't bother Sora in the least! It gives him a chance to meet new people and make friends after all!]

[So while Fingon is cooking, Sora will poke his head into the kitchen]

Hey, smells good!

[....Yeah, he should. Probably do this. Make it official or whatever.]

Attention, Huntress- the newcomers, especially. This is Mikleo, your, uh, captain speaking.

Your fellow shipmates will tell likely you that we're very casual. Be polite and non-violent and we shouldn't have any issues.

As a forewarning, myself and the tactical officer, Dezel, are seraphim. You might not see or hear us. That's normal. If you need to contact us, use the communicator, or speak with Sorey. He's essentially our go-between.

We are not ghosts. So please don't scream at us, alright?

[WAS THAT OKAY, WAS THAT AN ACCEPTABLE ANNOUNCEMENT?? Maybe he should have gotten Sorey to do it. Ugh. What is talking to people.

Anyway, there's a box of gold-dusted macarons in the kitchen with a little card stating "help yourself".

Mikleo himself is sitting at the kitchen table, reading a book. He might try to say hi to whoever passes through, but he's not expecting much.]

[While Sora enjoyed the previous planet a lot more, it's been a lot of fun exploring this system as well! As such, he has spent a great amount of time off ship, exploring the different spots and getting to know the locals. He was too scrawny for Moxie to really notice him, and everything about Spirit went over his head - but he got a lot of street cred with the Savvy once they realized he could talk to animals! So yeah, he's been hanging out a lot with them. He wasn't into the whole rivalry bit, but the Savvy were pretty cool guys!]

[But today he's actually on the ship, trying to fix some problems that the laundry machine has apparently been having - since that's his job as maintenance! Except...it looks more less like he's fixing it than poking at things and occasionally whacking at it with a wrench.]

Oh, c'mon...!

[ Meanwhile, that blue and black lion cub of his is nearby and like any typical cat, making himself comfortable in a basket of fresh laundry. Great. ]

.......Our captain is invisible.

[A pause.]

That's AWESOME!

[He's glad Mikleo made the announcement, because Dezel's version would've just been 'get out of my room and don't scream in my face if you run into me.' Not very helpful in the slightest. He's a bit restless because of all the new people, but there is something he'd like to talk to Mikleo about, so here he is in the kitchen.

And he is definitely ignoring the cookies. His are better and he doesn't really have much of a sweet tooth either.]

[Someday he'll actually sound happy to see someone and then the world will explode tbh.]

[Mikleo's screen is regrettably empty, so enjoy the nice view of the kitchen, I guess.]

[Finwe was glad that he was going to be able to stay with his grandsons now. He knew they were all grown and could look after themselves but it made Finwe happy to take care of them.

He also wanted to get to know the members of this new ship so after getting settled in his quarters he decided to explore. He had been to the planet but today he would spend on the Huntress to settle in.

So there is a tall, very bright Elf wandering the halls, peering around and ready to greet anyone he comes across.]

[There sure are a lot of new people. He's been off the ship for a few days as he explored the system, but now he's back and there are... elves? What the fuck is an elf?

People with sufficient resonance might see him just leaning against the wall like it's going out of style, while others might just feel watched. Some may even feel judged. This is his ship, and he will dismantle anyone who seems to pose a credible threat.

... But mostly, he's just bored and he likes to people-watch, so yeah, he's going to spy on people as they go about their lives in the hall, the kitchen, the cargo bay, and the bridge.

There is one room that seems to be haunted, for those who try to claim it. There are no signs it has been slept in, but there are a few items here and there-- a box that makes nature noises, some kind of cardboard castle (handmade), and a rainforest-like terrarium containing two fluff slugs from the handholding planet.]

[The world would explode, and Mikleo would die of shock.

He looks up as Dezel announces his presence; he'd been pretty deeply entrenched in the book, so he hadn't noticed the other seraph approaching. Though- wind seraph. They can be pretty quiet when they want to, so who knows if it was one or the other.]

Hey. Not interested in exploring the planets, or are you just taking a break?

(He cannot quite contain his joy over sharing a ship with so much of his family. Fingon will have to endure a much happier looking Maedhros as he too wanders about the ship.)

You needn't travel so far every morning. Our quarters are close.

(One of said grandsons will drop a kiss on Finwë's cheek as he passes by.)

How do you fare, Grandfather?

[Oh Maitimo Finwe adores you so. He may have to lean up just slightly but Maedhros gets a kiss on the cheek as well.]

I am well! And you, grandson? I am pleased I can be with you all.

(This is an Elf. He is over seven feet tall - maybe closer to eight - with vivid copper hair, pale skin and too many scars to count. One ear is most definitely pointed, but the other has been cut almost in half. Oh and he is missing a hand.

His eyes are alight with a tentative hope as he walks the halls. The sensation of being watched, however, makes the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.)

My eyes tell me I am alone and yet my other senses say otherwise. Show yourself.

(If he had a sword, he would draw it. As it stands, he is not accustomed to using guns yet, so he must rely on his physical strength.

Which is, of course, no use against a spirit.)

(He is happy over this shift and it shows. This ship will perhaps feel far more like a home.)

We will visit you often and you must return the favor. (His hair is neatly braided thanks to Fingon and his overall appearance seems...neater.)

Could you define Seraphim for me? The word is not one I know.

[He sits on the counter, because he's rude and doesn't care all that much about who cleans it.]

I'm sure you've noticed the malevolence by now. It tends to get pretty nasty after a while.

[But there was a different reason he wanted to speak to Mikleo. He sends out a little tendril of wind to see if anyone is coming. He shuts the door just in case.]

What's going on?

If you can't see me, that isn't my problem, [comes his flat reply. He can tell this one is gearing up to fight, to defend himself. Does that mean Dezel has to calm him down? Ugh.

Whoever this guy is, he's huge and he feels... interesting, to say the least. Seraphim are deeply in tune with how pure one's emotions are, since conflict breeds malevolence, and malevolence is poison.]

{Can anyone blame Fingon for being happy? So many new people! New things to learn! He's still learning how to work certain things, and the Paisley had had a few less things in its kitchen to work with than the Huntress.}

Do you want to taste? Stew is only better when more than just the cook tastes along the way!

{A happy Maedhros means an even happier Fingon. He grins up at his cousin.}

I would travel longer each morning if it meant helping you! But it is nice to be close again. {It had been far too long since they lived so near.}

(Maglor's emotions might feel much like Maedhros's. Only, for the elder brother, the pain of his life has not been dulled by time. His fëa is fiery by nature and there are deep wounds that have not healed.)

I do not need to rely on my sight. (And so he closes his eyes, turning to face this being properly.) I am new. Do you know my brother, the bard, perhaps?

(It is impossible for him to not wrap one arm around the smaller Elf's shoulders.)

I know you would. (He rests his cheek on top of Fingon's head.) What will a ship that sails through the stars do with so many Elves onboard?

...Yeah.

[That's kind of the reason he's here and not down there. It sort of feels like, lately, the malevolence is getting harder to avoid. Makes the place feel kind of like home, which is... not a good thing.]

[He groans inwardly. Someone like this is bound to cause trouble, and he isn't too happy about it. Then again, he's never happy about having new people on the ship. He just hates people. He thought he could only hate humans, but now this elf guy is here and Dezel thinks he might hate him too.]

[At least Maedhros can hear him. He must have some kind of middling resonance, then.]

Who are you?

The simplest definition would be a sort of elemental spirit. It's not entirely accurate, but it's what most people recognize.
