People with sufficient resonance might see him just leaning against the wall like it's going out of style, while others might just feel watched. Some may even feel judged. This is his ship, and he will dismantle anyone who seems to pose a credible threat.
... But mostly, he's just bored and he likes to people-watch, so yeah, he's going to spy on people as they go about their lives in the hall, the kitchen, the cargo bay, and the bridge.
There is one room that seems to be haunted, for those who try to claim it. There are no signs it has been slept in, but there are a few items here and there-- a box that makes nature noises, some kind of cardboard castle (handmade), and a rainforest-like terrarium containing two fluff slugs from the handholding planet.]

His eyes are alight with a tentative hope as he walks the halls. The sensation of being watched, however, makes the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.)
My eyes tell me I am alone and yet my other senses say otherwise. Show yourself.
(If he had a sword, he would draw it. As it stands, he is not accustomed to using guns yet, so he must rely on his physical strength.
Which is, of course, no use against a spirit.)

Whoever this guy is, he's huge and he feels... interesting, to say the least. Seraphim are deeply in tune with how pure one's emotions are, since conflict breeds malevolence, and malevolence is poison.]
Are you new or visiting?
[Please say visiting.]

I do not need to rely on my sight. (And so he closes his eyes, turning to face this being properly.) I am new. Do you know my brother, the bard, perhaps?
no subject
No.
[At least Maedhros can hear him. He must have some kind of middling resonance, then.]
Who are you?
no subject
I am Maedhros and there are three members of my family now on this ship. (A brother, a cousin and a grandfather.)

[It's an honest question. Sometimes Atroma transfers people, but sometimes they can do the paperwork. Dezel was the latter. He was fleeing a demon, though, so no one can really blame him.]
no subject
(He is one who filled out the paperwork.)
no subject
[It isn't negative, exactly; Dezel certainly watched him for a while because he was interesting. Hasn't said hi yet, though. Because what is socializing.]
Name's Dezel.
no subject
And I am Maedhros. A pleasure, Dezel.
no subject
Hey. What's up?
no subject
The new people will think you're crazy.
[Doesn't mean he won't try.]
no subject
[Yeah sorry. Still stuck with him]
'Sides! Mikleo gave that announcement, so it's not like they don't know you guys are here.
no subject
I've been watching them. They don't seem dangerous, but I wanted to be sure.
no subject
I don't think they are. They seem nice to me!
no subject
[Not that Dezel is the best judge of character either, but.]

There's no accounting for taste, I guess.
no subject
Nah, I got great tastes.
[So shut your piehole Dezel]
One of them's a cook you know.
no subject
There are a lot of cooks in the Fleet. It's an augment.
no subject
So you're fine with it?
no subject
There's nothing I can do about it. [Which doesn't quite answer the question.]
