You're not that difficult to converse with. Sorey is a little more easy-going but that doesn't mean you're completely recalcitrant.

It's more a matter of practice. Before coming here the only people I was ever able to talk to were a couple of humans and my fellow seraphim. And since leaving home I'd gotten used to letting Sorey do the talking because there was no point in bothering to try with anyone else. They couldn't hear us anyway. Sometimes it's easier, I suppose, to depend on that.

[ That makes a certain amount of sense. Still, the amount of people who can perceive seraphim are much larger than simply Sorey now. ]

Now I'm running out of excuses and have to learn to be an acceptable conversationalist, I suppose.
