I do not know who this might effect, but I thought it polite to inform you that I am now part of the Huntress's crew. (He had been aboard the S.S. Bishop before.) Furthermore, I have informed myself on what might be possible for...something I lack.

Those who have knowledge of mechanics - particularly where artificial limbs are concerned - are of great interest to me. My name is Maedhros or Maitimo and I wish to speak to you at your earliest convenience.

I'd be useless building a prosthetic, but some of my training in my home universe was on attaching and helping people adjust to artificial limbs. When you find someone to build it for you, I can pitch in there if need be.

Very few people do, so there's no shame in that. It certainly won't be an inconvenince to help with meditation and some rehabilitation though, I assure you. I'm hardly stretched thin as a healer here.

Then you have my utmost gratitude. (Gratitude beyond words, truly.) The wound itself was caused by a sword. I owe my life to the one who wielded it, so I do not look on the wound with anger or bitterness. I merely become frustrated when it impedes me from doing as I wish.

I understand. Or as well as somebody who has never lost a limb can, I think. I was trained to wield a weapon similar to a sword, a lightsaber, and part of our philosophy was to disable instead of kill, at close range, so that we could see exactly the impact our actions had in stopping someone. It sounds as if the one who injured you followed a similar code.
