[ this moment has been building, and sam is still a bit miffed he has to make it in the first place. but there’s only so much he can do with what’s been giving, and as much as he’s been trying to figure this out on his own-

I’ve noticed that a lot of these ships tend to vary when it comes to defenses, teams, etc.

I’m in the market for some upgrades and wondering if there’s a point-person who’d be into coming by and giving a quote.

[ he knows he’s going to have to ask the big people upstairs about it, but any kind of person he can talk to before he is left to the whims of the producers, he would really really appreciate it. ]

What ship are you on? I may be able to give some recommendations but I make no promises yet.

I haven't been able to find any kind of defensive system, protective weaponry, anything at all.

What kind of weaponry does the Pathstone have currently? I can take a look to see what is currently and place and go from there. The technology for any upgrades may limited or simply not available but perhaps something could be cobbled together.

Pool your payments, if you can. If anyone aboard the Pathstone has credits to spare, explain to them why the upgrades are worth the donation. Start with security -- creature comforts can wait.

You might need to come see it for yourself. Last I checked, it didn't have anything attached. It seems whoever was in control before me didn't see a need for much defensive or offensive equipment.

The Wonderduck has firearms and stuff like that but nothing fancy, anyway. We've never really needed our defenses, I guess. Guns are weird, though.

My recommendations would depend on what your crew's most interested in. Since you're asking about weapons, I'd look into upgrading the shuttles.

They get bigger, and more importantly, you get more of them. Easier to bring things back home.

I can come over whenever is suitable for you then.

I've only been in the fleet a couple of months but in my home galaxy I've worked with helping design weapon systems and was involved in improving the technology of the ships in our fleet.
