[It's not every day that Stefan gets to spend time with two of his favorite people in the entire Fleet. Okay, maybe he gets to spend more time with them than the average person, but a whole afternoon? That's rare.

They'd agreed to meet on the moon and take part in its services. The yoga, the meditation, maybe even a formal tea brewing ceremony if there's time. Stefan wants to take notes and bring it all back to the Center - and if he were pressed, he'd admit that he wants some time off. Between the Center, the lab, and even the blood drive, he's been running on empty (caffeinated) fumes.

He can't remember the last time he got to stop and breathe, so he sits on the steps of the main rehab center and pulls out his diary. Might as well get some writing in beforehand.]

[His current entry's in Arabic (to no one's surprise), but names can be made out - Anakin's, Hartley's, and so forth. Stefan doesn't mind the intrusion either, as he glances up at Obi-Wan with a smile.]

Just a journal entry. I don't trust our devices to keep everything, and well - my memory's faulty, so this helps me remember what happened when.

[ Obi-Wan nods knowingly. Stefan had spoken of it before, when he had woken up. ]

I can't say I'll ever get used to the idea of paper.

[Misty frowns in confusion.]

They don't have paper in your universe?

[beardstrokes]

We do, but we rarely use it. All our records are digital.

You're making me feel older than I already am, Obi-Wan. [He groans, but it's hard to sound annoyed when he's so amused about it. Putting his journal away now!]

How'd your shopping go?

[beardstrokes]

Decently well on my end.

[ Obi-Wan holds up his bag. ] Lavandula had all the right vendors for our supplies.

Oooh!

[Misty leans forward eagerly.]

Can we see?

[ He nods, obliging them by opening the bag. He pulls out a couple of scented candles, oils and tea boxes. ]

[Misty leans over - sorry Stefan, she has little notion of personal bubbles as you've probably already discovered - and takes a whiff of the candle Obi-Wan is holding out.]

Never smelled anything like that before, but it's real lovely! You got good taste!

[At this point, Stefan's more than used to the absolute lack of personal space. It's a small miracle that he doesn't even flinch as he looks over the tea boxes.]

Agreed. I haven't seen tea this good in a while, either.

[ He smiles faintly. ]

I used to buy certain teas for my Master. I suppose I've gotten better at spotting them.

You're better at this stuff than half the Fleet, Kenobi. Give yourself some credit.

[ He shakes his head. Credit is not something he likes to take. ]

Don't talk like that. You're good at lots of things.

Yeah. Unless you can't, for Jedi-related reasons?

No -- We're not encouraged to claim personal credit. That's all.

Doesn't mean we can't give you credit though.

Yeah, we were just expressing how much we appreciate your taste.

But uh, speaking of taste - should we try the tea ceremony first? Or the meditation?

[ Obi-Wan declines replying to that. ]

Perhaps we could lead with the tea ceremony.

I'm fine with whatever y'all wanna do.

Sure. I don't have much preference either, but I was hoping to find something that we could add to the Center.

[No preference, says the one man chemically addicted to tea...

With that, he gets up finally, turning towards the building before them.]

[ He runs a hand down his beard, thoughtful. ]

What did you have in mind?

Off the top of my head? Not much. The people here follow a polytheistic faith, and depending on which faction holds the most power, the nature of their gods change too.

Do they have any songs or hymns? Maybe we could find some sheet music or something.

[Because of course Misty thinks of music first.]

[ Obi-Wan draws back a little. The expression of faith, for him, is still foreign. The Jedi don't have rituals or ceremonies, save for their funerals. ]

Perhaps some kind of celebration tailored to the faith?
