[Tyrion is looking a little ... frazzled today. He's as neat as always, but his expression sort of has the range of 'shit shit shit shit shit' on it. Still, he kept a very straight face and a pleasant tone as he speaks.] Just to let everyone know, Captain Furiosa appears to be ... missing. Altogether. I will be stepping up as First Mate with Captain duties until she returns.

[Please, please let her return soon. Tyrion was always leery of leadership positions. He preferred to be the voice behind the throne.]

So, any questions, problems, captain meetings that should be attended? Let me know.

[He smiled tightly.] And we'll just keep on as always until she returns. Good. Status, ah, reports?

[He sighed, rubbing his beard as he gives one of his dearest friends a long and pointed look, before he smiles at her.]

Come and see me soon? I could use the company.

Is now too soon? [She just needs to tell Winn since she's been sticking kind of close but with Jim awake again he's been doing a little better.]

Now is never too soon. [Is his quick answer, because he could use the support. He could use another mind to help him figure things out, as well.]

Now it is then. I'll see you. [And she won't waste anytime before getting there. She was also fresh out of booze so she brought Chloe's birthday gift to her—the one she was thinking she might just return since she wasn't sure about smoking weed. But maybe it's a good idea now? Maybe it's a terrible idea. Either way, she has it with her as she gets off the shuttle.]

[Tyrion is waiting for her in his lab area - and it's clear he's retreated here because he needs to feel ... secure. Safe. Surrounded by weapons so he doesn't get that paranoid itch between his shoulders that someone is waiting to come and cut him down.

He is working on swords for sale, so they have more gilt than he normally would put on them.

Mis-matched eyes look up as she enters, and he sighs with relief.] Hello, Kitty.

Hey. [Hugs first. Well, putting down any swords first and then hugs anyway.] Expecting invaders? [It's a joke but......expecting invaders?]

I am always expecting invaders. [Is Tyrion's wry response because, well, he usually is.]

Then you are well prepared. How are you holding up?

[He hugs onto her again, his jaw tight.] I'm ... concerned. Seriously concerned. [He sighed softly.] And I have my worries, how could I not?

What's worrying you? Is it what her home's like? [Kitty got the feeling it was a hard place, but she knows little of it. Is it Furiosa at all? Or being captain?]

Beyond that ... her world seems to be some kind of horror tale straight from my history. [He breathed in deeply.] Beyond that - I am not entirely certain she went home.

Possibly on one of the planets.

We could search. Is there a reason you suspect it?

All of her things are still here.

...There's a lot of ground to cover down there. [Even with telepaths and such it would take a long time to search.] Do you think she might be keeping quiet on purpose.

Furiosa? Never. She would never leave without telling me, or Max. She is too responsible for that - she feels us keenly and we ... well. I would not want to see her gone.

Then we'll find her if she's out there. [You have Kitty's time and resources.] If nothing else when the fleet moves out she'll have to reappear on the ship, right?

She will - although I am fearful of how she will turn up. [She already lost an arm, what else could she possibly lose?]

[She gives him a reassuring squeeze.] Can't cross those bridges until we get to them. [Not that it ever stops her from worrying about things out of her hands.]

I think my problem is that we keep coming up to bridges. [Tyrion sighed, as he wrapped his arms around her and squeezed back just as tight.]

Okay, what do you want to do then? Right now. Whatever you want to make you feel better about this bridge.

Right now ... I could do with a real glass of wine, honestly. Something that I could savor, all my own.

So, I don't have wine, but I did bring something...altering. I have no idea if it's the best or worst possible thing we could do, but it's probably one or the other.
