Who: the little queen margaery tyrell + you
Broadcast: yes, unless your name is sansa stark
Action: upon the tourist, if you are so inclined
When: current.
[ those who frequently visit the star system may have seen margaery here and there. running around the moxie part of the planet under the name alerie, sitting in the spirit libraries and presenting herself as olenna tyrell or, quite like today, visiting the savvy part of the planet in the colors of her house, using her true name for a change.
it has been a sweet game of a sort but today she seems to be all business ]
Well, it is an interesting little place we are visiting, is it not? I do hope everyone is keeping well.
I arrived here six moon cycles ago and when I did, a friend of mine and I discussed our name days. It is very difficult for us to know when they would be, here. This realm seems to measure time quite differently than our own. It was my suggestion that we would do well to simply decide on the matter of our name days. My friend, I fear, is very humble and so it was decided -
[ mostly by herself ]
that we shall celebrate our name days on the very same day and I do think the time has come. Those of you who are truly fortunate have already met Lady Sansa Stark, she resides upon the Blue Fish and I do dearly wish to plan this little gathering for her and for myself.
[ she sits up, tucks one curl behind an ear and smiles ]
This entire matter should be kept a secret from Lady Stark. I wish it to be a surprise. I should think two weeks is a proper enough notice, there is more than enough time to purchase presents for her on this little planet.
[ and for margaery, but that's a whole other issue ]
She is very fond of gowns, embroidery, music and lemon cakes. Try and bring her a boon of friendship and affection, if you can find it in you. We shall meet at one of the halls upon the Iskaulit that shall be decorated accordingly to celebrate her and mine name day. As for my own preferences for gifts -
[ a tiny little grin ]
I trust you all to know your way to a lady's heart.

I remember you mentioning wanting to do something. I'm glad you're following through. Lady Sansa will not hear a thing from me.
video
[ but that makes little difference. the good thing about being a young, lovely lady is that others listen and are keen to help, even if the date of your name day is not entirely correct. ]
I shall need your assistance, lady Riona. I am sewing a gown for Lady Sansa, I do trust I have the correct measurements but I would gladly visit the Blue Fish to measure one of her gowns. She will need to be quite preoccupied with someone else when I do.
video
[That still throws her sometimes.]
So I'm to be a diversion. I'm quite used to that, though I've usually done so for far scarier things in the past. [She laughs a bit.] I'd be happy to. Name when you want to come over, and I will make sure she never notices.

How can I help?

[ and it shall be a good way to keep him busy with good things which is her running agenda since she moved ships to the tourist ]
there is also another matter, but you must not feel obliged to indulge me regarding it.

[ because it doesn't matter how much he'll help her with her own gift, it's still hers. he needs to get her something separate. and something for margaery, too. so much work, so little time! ]
What is it? [ he'll probably do it. ]

What is a 'name day'?
video.
Forgive me, how silly of me. I should have mentioned it as I was speaking. In my realm, we call them name days; yet I reckon most other realms named them 'birthdays'. They are one and the same, truly.
video.
I see. So they are simply days to celebrating your birthing. We do not have such things in my land.

When I have recovered fully I can look into making them.
[Robb cannot even bake an egg...]
text
I must say, I did not know you bake so well, your Grace.
[ robb, will you be trying to bake a cake because margaery might have to be present for that. ]
text
You may call me Robb. My crown is not of importance here. I claim no lands and lead no army.
I can chop and stir. I cannot bake. I am afraid I will need the help of others.
[He is no cook or a kitchen maid.]

I do not reckon I could manage such a large celebration here for lady Sansa; but I trust we can arrange for cakes and food, music and presents. It should still be a happy occasion.

[Oh gosh, it's the tiny pink horsey thing from Daenerys's ship.]
Oh nice! I LOVE parties, I'm a party planner back home! I'm down on the planet right now but when is it?! Do you need any help with stuff?! I've got lemons if you need more for your cakes! I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name?!
[Pinkie, you... might have wanted to start with that first question. ANd spaced them out.]
Video
Good-day to you, Pinkie Pie, you may call me Margaery. I am so fortunate to be in the company of one who understands celebrations so well. We have two weeks to arrange one for a dear friend of mine. Do you know of someone, gifted in the craft of baking, who could make the lemons into a cake?
Moral of the story: Don't get involved in big lengthy plots around birthdays

Alas, dear Maergary, I will not be able to attend. However if I send a gift along, will you be kind enough to send it on for me? Without telling her whom it is from, of course.
video » private
I shall be honored, lord Tyrion. I shall give it to her and say nothing regarding who sent it.
[ ... ]
Shall I at least see you beforehand for my own present or will that be given to me by someone else? I shall be most displeased.

[ Because he does care about the Starks; all of them. But Sansa still seems to be uneasy around him, so actually being in attendance would feel...wrong. ]

[ she is very honorable in general but moreso when it comes to Sansa and the subject of her name day presents. ]
Shall I tell her who sent the present?

but she puts on one of her braver faces for margaery. ] Robb's more like a kitten than a wolf, [ she gossips because gossiping is easy with margaery. ] He's fallen sick! Doctor Beverly says he'll be fine, and I know he will, so it's a bit easier to tease him about it.
[ -- she's been here for maybe about ten minutes already, enjoying the company. ]

The fleet has given many gifts to Sansa but it hasn't escaped Margaery that it has taken one from her, as well. The timing for the name day celebration was not accidental, few things with the Tyrellg girl ever are. Quite like in King's Landing, she finds herself determined to make her happy. It helps to be away from Joffrey's presence. Odd as the fleet may be, it is more merciful than Westeros ever was.
And so Margaery goes to the kitchens, takes out the array of gourmet cakes she bought on the Moxie side of the planet and listens to the tale of King Robb's illness ]
Poor man! do you spoil him terribly? My brothers always spoiled me terribly when I was ill. One year, I had a cough for an entire moon cycle. Loras would bring me sweets at night, my mother was half mad when the maids found the crumbs in the morning.
