[Misty had stepped back, both to give the three of them some space and also to start mixing together the appropriate salve needed for Wanda's wounds, creating a muddy looking paste in her hands.

Now, at Wanda's question, she looks up with no small amount of apprehension. She believes she did the right thing, but what if Wanda doesn't think so, what if Wanda turns on her? It wouldn't be the first time. She casts a nervous glance at Vision.]

You... you died and I resurrected you.

[The Vision meets Misty's gaze and nods lightly. Misty had done only what he'd asked; if it wasn't right, he can be the one to shoulder the blame. But he believes it was the right thing to do, for Pietro, for himself, and of course for her.

He turns his attention back to Wanda, still holding on to one hand.]

It's one of her powers, Wanda. I asked it of her. I...could not bear it if you left us so soon.

[Wanda looks from Misty to Vision to Pietro to back to Misty, before finally falling once more to look again at the wound in her chest. Her hands hover over it. Not sure of what to do to treat it. It didn't appear to be bleeding anymore, but if anything that made its presence all the more disconcerting to Wanda.]

[She looks again to Misty, her eyes pleading now for something, some explanation or comfort or cure or just... something.]

Is... is it meant to be like this? The pain-- I...

[Her eyes dart temporarily to her brother. The feeling, the experience... it had been like the experiments they went through in Hydra's labs. The ones that had given them their powers, yet felt like their minds and bodies were being ripped apart in the process. She needs him. His comfort again. Just to let her know that this, too-- this sensation of feeling almost between two states, dead and alive, was in fact going to be temporary.]

I know.

[Misty's voice is quiet and serious as she cautiously approaches Wanda again, the magic mud in hand.]

Believe me, I know. I've been in your place twice before. But it'll get better, I promise, as long as you let me help you.

[Because ain't no medical science that can fix that wound - by all rights, Wanda should not be able to live with it at all.]

The pain won't last forever. [He glances at Misty to confirm this.]

It's very bad right now, but you will heal soon and we will be here with you the whole time.

[Because the only thing he'll leave her side for is to get more materials for Misty, and he imagines Pietro will be the same way.]

I'm not going to leave you.

[ Not again. Not for anything. He moves to the end of the bed, resting his hand on her ankle. Trembling? Whose hands are trembling? Definitely not Pietro's.

God. She's okay.. ]

[At her brother's touch, he might notice she's trembling about as much as he is. When she hears his words of reassurance though, some of the fear behind her eyes dissipates. Though, a worried expression still lingers on her face.]

[She looks back to Misty. It's clear Wanda's worried about whatever Misty's "help" might mean, but... well, she doesn't have much of a choice but to trust her at the moment. Vision seems to, so that she should be enough of a reason for her too, as well.]

What- [Her voice catches in her throat. She swallows, tries again.] What do you need me to do?

Nothing. You just got to lie back and rest. This here [She holds up the mud] is swamp mud, got the most amazin' healin' properties. I know science types don't like this kinda thing much but you're gonna have to trust me.

[Truth is, Wanda's wounds are nothing, compared to others Misty has seen, to ones she's suffered, but probably not the most tactful thing to say right now.]

Or if you can't trust me, trust the captain.

[It's clear from the look in her eyes that Wanda is rather doubtful of the medical properties of "swamp mud." In fact, applying something like that to an open wound sounds like the very opposite of proper treatment.]

[But, well... it had been Misty that had brought her back. It had been her powers. Powers which Wanda had previously thought pertained only to plants. Still, she knows that out of anyone present, she is the one that most fully understands the situation.]

[Still, as Misty mentions "trusting the captain," Wanda's eyes dart over to Vision, looking to him for some final reassurance.]

[And as soon as she looks over in his direction, the Vision nods as well as giving her a reassuring squeeze. If he didn't trust Misty implicitly, he wouldn't have asked her to use her power - and he wouldn't have asked it of her if he hadn't trusted Wanda and Pietro not to kick up a huge fuss. It had, apparently, caused Misty some difficulty at home.]

All will be well in time, Wanda. I am so very sorry I could not do more, but I will help you through this and you'll make a full recovery.
