It's been a few days since Katie and Max recovered her from the avalanche she unwittingly started. It has taken that time for her to feel like she's back in the land of the living and not teetering on some cold abyssal edge; she's still sore, her movements careful and ginger, but she's got her wits about her and she's never been so happy to be warm again. While the ship isn't anywhere near the scorching temperatures she experienced back home, in relation to the burning cold she just dealt with she's grateful for a secure, safe environment.

She's also grateful for the outpouring of help and friendship, evidenced in the aftermath with Max and Tyrion's posts to the network. She wouldn't normally go out of her way to make such a public statement, but she recognizes the effort that went in to finding her, even outside of the one who was finally successful.

The video feed opens to a view of her in her bunk. She's still recovering, continuing to let Tyrion have control of the ship until she's sure she'll be able to handle it (and, perhaps, get a replacement arm for the one she lost in her foolishness). Her face is worn, and craggy from her bout with the elements, but she looks happy, hopeful.]

[Tyrion snorts from the background, where he is reviewing all of the ship readouts, as Furiosa speaks, and he calls out to her.] Succinct as always, Captain.

[You can hear the smirk there, sarcasm and all.]

[Furiosa sets her comm device in her lap as she turns the feed off, calling back to him with a voice that rasps when she speaks up.]

I'm not about to bore them with details.

[Or rather, she'd prefer to forget the whole experience in the first place.]

[Tyrion walks the short distance down the hall from the cockpit to the captain's quarters, arching an eyebrow at Furiosa.]

I would point out that what happened to you would hardly be called boring. Closer to harrowing, if I could put a name on it. However ... I understand not wanting to share the details about battle scars.

[He gestured to his face, his mouth twisting slightly.] As you can see.

I appreciate it. [She gives him a soft smile back. Really, in this case, it was more embarrassing than anything, but considering her past she just preferred not to talk about things.]

I guess, technically, these are your quarters now.

So you took a nap too, huh? Wow, maybe it really was an epidemic.

[Not so much a nap as 'no one told me you shouldn't yell in snowy mountain regions' but she's not too keen on correcting him.]

Perhaps. Did you at least enjoy your nap?

For the most part. It was an exciting three years to say the least.

I am glad to see you well, lady - there were many concerned for you, not least your second.

Oh, thank Celestia, you're okay. Where were you?

Yes, well. [He quirked a grin at her, before he gave her a flat look.]

No, they are your quarters. You are a Captain, the Captain. I am ... First Mate, temporary Captain.

Three years? [Whatever he went through, she certainly didn't share the experience.] I didn't think I was out that long.

Tyrion's good people. I knew it was a solid choice to make him my First Mate.

Running jobs for Savvy. Took a trip through the mountains and have decided to never do that again.

You might have to be for a little while longer. I feel fine as long as I'm sitting still but the moment I go to move, it's like un-oiled gears and rusted pistons. [Sore, sluggish, an overall feeling of fatigue.]

You seem to be handling it quite well so far, I might take an extended vacation.

Ouch. Nothing got broken, I hope?

No, just ... frozen. I'll be fine. [Let's be honest, she'd say that if she were missing another limb.] I think it would be smart if I swore off snowy locations for a while.

[Or like, forever.]

[The concern is very much there. Furiosa, you can't get hurt, he has like the tiniest handful of actual friends. You need to be safe forever :( ]

That's probably a good idea. I mean, not that you can't handle them, but maybe hang back until the whole planet is much more snowy. Maybe the snow'll be sturdier then.

I'm sure.

[Oh, sweet sweet little pony Cheese. She is a Wastelander. Sturdier than most, used to throwing herself at death every day. She will get hurt. But at least here, it doesn't happen that often. So stock up on the Get Well balloons, but ... maybe not in bulk.]

I think I'd be alright if I never went out in it again. [She's a desert dweller; she will probably never get used to the cold, not like that.]

I don't blame you. It's not my favourite thing, either. Can't ever find a warm place to sleep in it.

[Snow is not a friend to a drifter. Not at all. ]

At least here there's some diversity.

Not so bad. I won a couple races in Moxxy territory.

Hmm, that's what I felt like, though I was told it was only two weeks here. But no, definitely three years. I'm thirty now.

Thirty. That's quite an accomplishment.

[She does sound impressed, but then again, she lives in a place where a strong portion of the population are called half-lives.]

So you fell into a coma, and experienced three years in two weeks. I guess this is like how some people come from different points in time?

It must be. Time travel is very head-ache inducing like that. But I suppose it's a good thing, otherwise my muscles would be very atrophied and I do not like physical therapy.
