[Allen looks like he's planet-side on Solrius. He doesn't look injured, but he sure looks like this hasn't been the best of weeks. The area behind him? Looks like it just got hit by a snowstorm and a tornado, all at once.]

Hey! There's a dragon running loose on Solrius- a dangerous one, not a nice one! He's traveling with a man and they're causing damage! If you have information about either of them or their location, please tell me!

If you can fight? Please consider coming down here to protect the local villages! Don't try to take the dragon and the man on by yourself. Otherwise? I suggest traveling elsewhere!

[OOC: If you want to have an encounter with the dragon here's the log! The dragon will be defeated on the 11th. If you really want your character to be on Solrius and NOT encounter the dragon, that's fine too- it's a big planet! ]

A dragon.

[Excuse her you've piqued her interest. Not that she's exactly thrilled by the idea. Last time she fought a dragon was that damned High Dragon at the Temple of Sacred Ashes some ten years ago with Riona and the rest.]

Has anyone else tried to contain it?

[She will... call the cavalry if you need her to, Allen.]

I don't know. One woman tried to stall it, but... [Yeah, it didn't work]

It has wings, so by the time I get to a place it's been sighted, it's flown off.

Do we have any siege weapons available? Trebuchets and the like. Perhaps we can slow it down with a barricade of some kind.

[Yup. Officially going into her spymaster/tactician mindset. Sweet Chantry Sister Leliana is indisposed at the moment.]

I'll be honest. I'm still trying to figure out how to fight a dragon.

We've fought them before - Riona and the rest from Thedas. The most we can do is weaken it enough so that it will be immobile and then finish it from there.

Truthfully, yes. I don't want every reckless person going after a dragon, but I'd be stupid to think I can handle this alone.

[ The image, strange enough, seems to be in motion looking up at Hawke from below. Her mouth is set strangely, eyes narrowed, almost as though she ate something unpleasant and it is now wreaking havoc in her gut. ]

Fighting dragons is a hobby of mine, alongside long walks through dark alleyways and systematically destroying local gangs by killing all of their members. [ She looks down smile somewhat stiff - she's trying. ] I can slow it down, give everyone else more time to move the locals to safer locations.

[ It's reckless plan, stupid, but her tone suggests she isn't going to hear any different. No arguments, nothing. She's going that that is that. ]

Strange it's with someone, though. Dragons aren't usually friendly. [Ri you're awful calm for someone about to go fight a dragon.] Have there been any casualties? Does it stick to any particular area on the planet that you know of?

The man that is with him could be a larger problem. Is it possible to tackle him first and then the dragon? Perhaps we could trap the beast in a separate location, eliminate the man controlling it, and either it will cease to be under his control or we eliminate it as well.

I know they're not, but this...isn't a normal dragon. [Because you know, dragons are normal] And I don't know yet. I only narrowed down what planet it was on today.

That'd be ideal. The truth is, the man is a fleet member that's been corrupted by some sort of dark energy ... something like a taint, as your world would call it. The dragon is too.

I have the ability to purify such things, and he's supposed to be the source of it. So if I'm able to purify him, maybe that'll put a stop to it.

[She'd been about to answer but then that last bit has her undivided attention and she sets their conversation to private.]

Does this ability also include corrupted spirits?

[Inquiring minds want to know.]
