Who: Allen Walker
Broadcast: Video
Action: Solrius
When: 9/7

[Allen looks like he's planet-side on Solrius. He doesn't look injured, but he sure looks like this hasn't been the best of weeks. The area behind him? Looks like it just got hit by a snowstorm and a tornado, all at once.]

Hey! There's a dragon running loose on Solrius- a dangerous one, not a nice one! He's traveling with a man and they're causing damage! If you have information about either of them or their location, please tell me!

If you can fight? Please consider coming down here to protect the local villages! Don't try to take the dragon and the man on by yourself. Otherwise? I suggest traveling elsewhere!

[OOC: If you want to have an encounter with the dragon here's the log! The dragon will be defeated on the 11th. If you really want your character to be on Solrius and NOT encounter the dragon, that's fine too- it's a big planet! ]

A dragon.

[Excuse her you've piqued her interest. Not that she's exactly thrilled by the idea. Last time she fought a dragon was that damned High Dragon at the Temple of Sacred Ashes some ten years ago with Riona and the rest.]

Has anyone else tried to contain it?

[She will... call the cavalry if you need her to, Allen.]

Do we have any siege weapons available? Trebuchets and the like. Perhaps we can slow it down with a barricade of some kind.

[Yup. Officially going into her spymaster/tactician mindset. Sweet Chantry Sister Leliana is indisposed at the moment.]

We've fought them before - Riona and the rest from Thedas. The most we can do is weaken it enough so that it will be immobile and then finish it from there.

The man that is with him could be a larger problem. Is it possible to tackle him first and then the dragon? Perhaps we could trap the beast in a separate location, eliminate the man controlling it, and either it will cease to be under his control or we eliminate it as well.

[Basically they have their work cut out for them. Where is Ogrhen with his pre-game alcohol when they need it?]

[She'd been about to answer but then that last bit has her undivided attention and she sets their conversation to private.]

Does this ability also include corrupted spirits?

[Inquiring minds want to know.]

Anders is in possession of a spirit of Justice that has been corrupted into Vengeance. It resides within him and is bound to him as a result.

[And there is a bit of a strained silence as Leliana wonders if she should tell him why this is a problem.]

Justice felt the injustice that Mages have endured for many lifetimes at the hands of the Templar Order of Thedas. The Templars work closely with the Chantry and were abusive to Mages, unjustly so of course.

[Still restraining herself as much as she can but honestly she's said this much... what can she do but get to the meat of the issue?]

Anders, having fled the Circle of Magi in which he was housed, lived on the run as an apostate - something that is considered illegal in Thedas. He was angry at the treatment mages endured and chose to exact vengeance by murdering hundreds of innocent cloistered sisters, templars, and those residing in the village of Kirkwall that entered the chantry the day he blew it up with magic. He did so under the influence of Justice's corrupted spirit.

[She takes a breath. Honestly it was hard to even consider involving an outsider in the problems of their home, but she wanted this dealt with.]

My worry - as a Chantry official - is that should Justice feel that something taking place in the fleet is unjustly done, he will react in violence with us in the crossfire. It is why I have tried to find a way to have him dealt with by either destroying him and Anders both, destroying just the malevolent spirit, or finding a way to restore the both of them to a more agreeable state of being by separation.

I would never ask you to take his life. If it can be avoided, all the better. If not - I will not leave that to you to burden yourself with.

[Carefully, Leliana folds her hands beneath her chin, as if in prayer. She honestly wishes there was another way - that Anders did not have to die, nor Justice. If she had to choose between their lives and the lives of those who are uncorrupted by their figurative and literal demons and Anders who was off the beaten path... she chose the innocents caught in the middle because it was the right thing to do.]

Anders is a good man, albeit a troubled one. I am not a mage but I feel frustrated on his behalf. Mages are like anyone else - made up of good and bad people. They aren't things. They've got feelings and passions like any other of the Maker's children. Mages who turn to blood magic or possession do so because they see no other options left to them. If I could single handedly change the Chantry or the Templar Order I would. But that... is a thought for another time. I apologize I let my own passion get the better of me.

[She scrubs a hand over her face, feeling tired as well.]

I only ask because you are the first lead I have come upon. I don't want to leave the situation idle until it is too late. Not again.

Which Hawke? Ah- don't answer that. I already have an idea. That blighted fool is still in jail, isn't he.

[NOT EVEN HOLDING BACK HER FEELINGS.]

I will go catch up with the both of them. Thank you for telling me.

[Wait... there's a Garrett Hawke too....????]

His name is Adawolfe. The only one I was familiar with before him was Marian. I've not heard of a Garrett Hawke.

[????? Why is it always Hawke, the Inquisitor, and the Warden that are different?????]

Hmm. Interesting. What was he like?

[Would she have liked him? Interesting.]

It is. I'm learning that of all the people I have met from my home that have come to the fleet - The Hero of Ferelden - Riona as you know her - Hawke and The Inquisitor all vary and yet for the most part those like myself, Fenris, Varric, Anders, and various others remain the same. The Hero I knew was Riona but there are others who have differing accounts, just as the Hawke I knew was not Adawolfe Hawke but Marian instead. My friend Inquisitor Trevelyen was also not an elf and I was told that there was an elf that went by the name of Jove and was given the title of Inquisitor where Cole is from.

[Honestly it makes her pinch the bridge of her nose a bit, staving off a headache. Tl;dr everyone's the same except the Warden, Hawke, and the Inquisitor and only Atroma - or probably the Maker - knew why.]
