Apollo blinks wide eyed, looking back and forth, trying to get his bearings. How is all this possible??? is what he wants to ask but, he knows he won't get a logical explanation. At least he isn't yelling OBJECTION?]
Er.
Hello??
no subject
Hey there, Apollo. There's a redhead with her feet up on one of the counters, flicking a piece of coloured paper out of her hair.]
Well, at least you come with pudding. Hi. You must be... [What the heck did the roster say--] Apollo Justice?
[What a name, dude.]
no subject
Er, that's right. I guess I'm a new--recruit? Um, I don't know space lingo.
no subject
You're new crew! I'm Nami. Captain of the Bloodsport.
no subject
Um. Well, er, Captain? I'm just your simple lawyer. I assume this makes you my boss now?
no subject
And technically, I suppose. But the only orders I'll ever give'd be to preserve the safety of the crew, so. You do as you like. What's your augment?
no subject
For a place that's kidnapped us unwillingly, there sure is a lot of personal freedom. Er, relatively, what with being in space and all. As for my augment, it's. . .ah. Lawyer.
no subject
[Which she realises probably sounds pretty mean, but uh. Sorry? :D?] Not that many of us had jobs that really translate to being on a spaceship all of a sudden.
no subject
You'd be correct. I'd be quite worried if the majority of people here were space pilots and they suddenly decided they needed legal representation.
What's your profession?
no subject
Pirate.

But finally, he gets the text from him. Bloodsport, huh? Nami's the captain, and... isn't that where that vampire he's heard nothing but terrible things about is? Looks like he'll have to come over often, or try to convince Apollo to come to his ship.
Those thoughts are firmly tossed aside when he lands in the Bloodsport's hanger, though. He's never been to this ship before, so everything looks relatively new to him. Once he's at the hanger door, he holds onto the doorway and leans out as he calls out:]
APOLLO JUSTICE ARE YOU HERE?!
no subject
It's sometime while Apollo is exploring the ship when he hears Clay, and without even thinking, he responds. Loudly. Sorry crewmates. In a way it's like having two seals yelling and clapping at each other.]
I'M HERE AND I'M FINE! IS THAT YOU CLAY?!
[Obviously it is, and Apollo takes off down the hall. ]
no subject
The sound of Apollo's voice gets him excited all over again. He grins, then takes off towards where he hears the voice.]
YES IT IS AND I'M ALSO FINE!!
no subject
[WHERE IS HERE? THIS HALL? SURE LETS GO WITH THAT. Apollo gets turned around a couple times but at least it's easy to follow the shouting. Aaaah it's happening HE CAN DO THIS, HE CAN LOOK AT HIS DEAD BESTIE THIS WILL BE FINE. Right?? Right...!]
no subject
[Meanwhile, Clay has a pretty easy time finding his way around. Sure, it's a different ship, and the aesthetic is different, but the pathway is still pretty much the same as every other ship he's been on. He follows Apollo's voice and his own instincts, rounds the corner, and -
Smacks right into Apollo.
And okay, Clay's stronger than Apollo, but that still kind of hurt. The force of it makes him topple backwards, landing on his butt while he holds his chest, where most of the impact happened.]
Owwww...
no subject
[To be fair Apollo's got one hard head, sorry buddy. ON THE PLUS SIDE, that sure is solid proof his bro is the real deal!! Apollo goes down, rubbing at his head, eyes briefly spinning. ]
Eurgh...I-I'm fine. . .(I feel like I just ran into a brick wall. . .)
[He sits up finally, frowning as he takes a moment to fix his hair. Then he spots Clay, and he's right back to being filled to the brim with panick and excitement. There he, there's Clay! He's real! THIS IS NOT A DREAM, THIS IS NOT A DRILL.................shit did he kill him by blunt force trauma??? Noooo--wait okay he's groaning, it's fine.]
Aaaah!! Clay!! CLAY, are you alright?!
no subject
I-I'm fine! I'm fine...!
[Then he opens his eyes and really looks this time, and... there he is. It's Apollo. It's Apollo, his best friend, the one he's been missing dearly for what seems like an eternity. Clay ends up just staring, his hand moving up as if to reach out and touch him, only to hesitate as he lets it fall slightly. He almost can't believe it's real, that he's finally seeing him again. And Apollo, is he... is he okay with this? He contacted him, yes, but - did he really want to see him again? After his... fate back at home?
Well. He's here now, they're here now, and Clay can't take his eyes off Apollo as he starts to stand up, offering a hand to pull Apollo up as well.]
H... Hey.
no subject
[Internal screaming intensifies.
He can feel himself tearing up again, and he quickly wipes at his face, trying to play it off as rubbing at his forehead again. He can't really explain the sniffling, but oh well. He's quick to plaster on a smile again, and though that's Clay's hand right there reaching out, he gets to his feet on his own, brushing off his suit.]
.........hey! S-sorry about that.
Ah.
[What does he even say? He just stares, smile twitching, then fading to a look of pure awe. Then he just, laughs.]
I-it really is you. What the heck, this is something straight out of a comic book. . .!

Which means Clay and Apollo's shouting match has her pressing her ears down against her head, and coming running.]
What's wrong?! Is anyone hurt?!
[no they're shouting that they're fine.]
no subject
No, we're fine!! Aside from when we bumped heads, but we're fine!
no subject
Aria is just gonna sit there and stare.]
... I... I see? The two of you are acquainted? Why did you bump heads?
[help how does she deal with this]
no subject
I guess we just got a little excited haha. . .that and I don't know my way around yet. Clay's my best friend.
no subject
Your friend? I am glad for you, but why would you head butt your friend?
no subject
Aha, we ran into each other. . .literally. I'm still finding my way around here.
no subject
But she's uncovering her ears, letting them slowly stand up again now that he's not shouting.]
Do you need to be shown around? The ships is not large, so it is easy to learn. Though I would rather it had a different name...
