[Where was I? Oh yeah, the cargo bay is very, VERY colorful. All the shuttles are vastly different colors now: orange and white, creams and light greens, rust colors with bits of bright blue, and then festooned with every bright, happy, girly icon you can think of.

And in the corner near the entry to the rest of the ship, there's a huge raised garden bed bearing all sorts of trees, shrubs, vines, patches, what have you.

There's even the infamous karaoke machine nest to the weights station.]

[It looks like a rainbow threw up in here. Renart is quietly grateful the Heron looks so boring. It doesn't have a garden though... why don't they have a garden? Lazy humans.]

[She's making a beeline towards the garden. The karaoke machine will come after she's inspected that.]

[It's quite the garden for sure. Citrus trees, a vegetable patch, plots for strawberries and some spiky melon, blueberry bushes, and GAAAASP! Yup, yup those are definitely raspberry and blackberry trellises.]

Aw, thank you~ Wait 'til you see the kitchen, it's got an ice cream churn AND I made a knife that can toast bread while you're slicing it!

[Ohhh, she's circling around the raspberry and blackberry trellises. Guess who her new favourite pony is?]

A toasting breadknife? I didn't know you were an inventor and a chef.

Oh yeah! I'm surprised I hadn't told you before, I work and live at Ponyville's bakery back home! AND I've told you how I'd make stuff occasionally back home, so one day I thought hey, why not make something that helps in the kitchen?

[Yes, she appreciates Rarity's sense of style.]

Most people wouldn't be that creative. Or successful. Does the ice cream churn really work?

It sure does~! I even made some sea salt ice cream for Sora's birthday cake!

So you could make blackberry ice cream, then?

Well, mostly because this month's been so busy and I haven't gotten any requests for it yet.

[Except she can't... guarantee she won't just gobble up any berries they pick. But she'll try to be patient.]

[That's okay, MOST of these well go into the ice cream, but a couple will somehow make their way into Pinkie's mouth too.]

Mmmm yup, these are perfect for ice cream right now!

[She's glad she isn't the only one with no self control. She can't help it! They're so delicious.]

I didn't know you could grow blackberries on a ship so successfully. I should try it on the Heron.

Let's see... I think four cups oughta do it, maybe five if we want if VERY blackberry-y!

And chicken, but she doesn't mind leaving that part out for the vegetarian pony.]

How long have you been growing all of this?

Since the hand-holding planet! I spent all month getting the wood and the soil, but I had a LOT of help moving and carving the wood, so it went a lot faster!

And then I bought some bushes and vines and seeds and yearling trees. AND Hiro gave me this lamp set for growing them too, AND it makes a nice basking corner for Gummy and Drogon!

[She's impressed. But then, she's always impressed when blackberries are involved.]

Who are they?

Oh, Drogon is Captain Dany's baby dragon! He's from her world, but the tree on the last planet gave her his egg! Neat, huh?!

[And Right on cue, a very tiny, bright green gator pops out of Pinkie's mane like a prairie dog.]

And THIS is Gummy! He's from MY world, the tree brought him here too! Say hi, Gummy!

[Blink, blink. Quite chatty, this one.]

Indeed.

[She's... mostly killed dragons in her time. But a baby is hardly something to go after.

Anyways, she starts at the sudden gator. What the fuck Pinkie, do you always keep crocodilians in your mane??]

That - [She squints, then steps closer.] You have a pet alligator?

[If it's even a pet. Somehow, it's weird to think of a pony owning an alligator.]

[Hahaha, well. Drogon is definitely... something. (If Spike ever comes to the fleet, though, THAT'S a baby dragon Renart can interact with safely, he even makes tea and muffins!

As for the mane question: maaaaaaybe~?]

Yes indeedy~ Gummy's been with me since he was a teensy tinesy witty bitty baby-er gator! Hee, his birthday's even the day after mine!

[He's friendly too. See, he'll even plop down and try to give a love bite. It's... weird, the little thing doesn't seem to have a tooth in his head.]

Awww he likes you!

[Renart's going to go ahead and let him do that. He's more a kit than anything remotely close to a threat, and kits love to bite so it's all good.]

How do you have a pet? You're a pony.

Oh, that's a REALLY good story!

[And so Renart is regaled by the wonderful, completely fleshed out story of how a teeny baby gator became Pinkie Pie's pet, and may also get some insight on why he's toothless. In this way, the fox is MUCH more fortunate than the rest of the fandom.]

... And THEN the tree brought him here when Cheese Sandwich and I held hooves, so he's been on board ever since!
