Hi, Fleet! Fleeters. Have we come up with a demonym? Or a collective noun? "A floot of fleeters". Eh, needs work.

Anyway, I set up some arts & crafts in the lecture hall on the Iskaulit because it's been very hectic and stressful lately and I thought we could use some creative outlets! Consider this my contribution to the Fleet as someone with a personnel augment. Craft therapy!

So come on by, spread glitter around, and maybe even meet new people! I'll be here for awhile—my room could really use some sprucing up.

[ she waves again and cuts the feed, though she's more than happy to chat with people over the videolink. All are invited to the craft party though! ]

Of course I do!! That sounds like a lot of fun. What are you thinking?

[You ask the hard questions, Kara.] ...you know, I'm not even sure what kind of stuff is good to make for other people. I mean, I bet he'll like just about anything.

Well, what does he like?

More complicated question than you'd know, because he's still figuring out what he likes, I think. He sure likes food, and swimming. Being outside.

Well, we could do something that everyone would like. Ice cream or flowers or puppies?

Ice cream or pizza maybe? Not sure what a puppy is.

Dogs? Any dogs at all? Small, baby dogs??

I'm so sorry. Dogs are the best. They're companion animals who evolved to live with humans over thousands of years and now live in many homes as pets, but more like members of the family. I don't really know how to describe them.

They sound nice. What do they look like?

There are some around. Or if you've seen the foxes? They're a bit like that, but there's a lot of variety in size and appearance. They have four legs and fur all over their bodies, generally, and a snout, and adorable big eyes.

Oh, yeah. I've seen the foxes. They're pretty cute. Too bad you haven't found a planet where you can get puppies, huh.

Some people got some from the tree at the last place, I think? Oh! And Clint and Kate have a dog now!

Well, if you didn't know what they are, I can understand not noticing them. But dogs are actually the best.

Yeah, he's my astromech. Kind of shy, sometimes, but I'll introduce you guys.

I'd love that! We had service robots, and one is still on Earth. His name is Kelex.

He got a lot of personality?

Not a ton, I guess? He can be a little sassy but mostly he exists to help my family out, so.

A lot of the astromechs back home don't have much going on either, but that's because their pilots regularly wipe their memories. I don't believe in doing that.
