A - Fleetwide video

[ As the feed to the network connection comes online, people watching will notice it's nothing but a dark screen at first. Perhaps something is wrong with the network? A few seconds later, however, something happens: the lights flicker on (really, Trucy would have preferred a spotlight, but she's got to work with what she's got!) and there stands a teenaged magician, standing at all 5'0"; despite her small stature, she sure looks confident. She flashes her audience a dazzling smile. ]

Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Pleased to meet your acquaintance! So, it's been brought to my attention that I am no longer in Los Angeles, but... well, space! Don't get me wrong, this is pretty cool! But see, I've kind of got a job back on Earth. And school. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure daddy and Polly are going to destroy the office without me-- oh, wait! I haven't properly introduced myself, have I?

[ Another smile, even brighter than the first, and there's suddenly a small poof of white smoke in her right hand. When the smoke clears, there's a golden wand in her hand. She twirls it between her fingers a few times, before stopping to tip her hat with her free hand, the other moving to her hip despite the baton in her grasp. ]

Magical Girl Trucy Wright reporting for duty! Although, you all can just call me Trucy, okay? Pleased to meet each and every one of you! So, whose up for answering a few of my questions, hm~?

B - Action aboard the SS Paisley

[ Despite the video feed she's just made, Trucy can at least admit to herself she's a little confused and even nervous -- especially because one second she'd been on a completely different ship. She's even gone and pinched herself a few times to make sure she isn't dreaming.

Despite her slight inner turmoil, outwardly she's still wearing a bright smile as she wanders the corridors of the SS Paisley, still twirling the baton from her earlier broadcast between her fingers as she walks, pudding cup in the other hand, whistling a cheery little tune to herself. A true performer never allows their smile to fade or show their true inner feelings, after all.

Besides, there's confetti and pudding cups. Chocolate pudding cups, at that. Who can beat that? She's rounding the corner, and nearly bumps into someone -- that someone being you! ]

Whoa, sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going, oops...

[Oh jeez, wow. This girl has a lot of energy, and Clay can't help grinning as he sees it even though life kind of sucks right now. You see, SOMEONE didn't ever introduce Clay to Trucy Wright, even though they'd been planning on it after he got back from space. But he has heard of Trucy Wright. Apollo talks about her often.

And so when that name comes up, the smile fades, but only because he's surprised.]

[ The image that appears on screen is that of a young man who looks... vaguely familiar... ]

Hello! Hm? Yes, that's me! [ She beams at him, striking a dramatic pose for emphasis. ] Trucy Wright, magician extraordinaire! Pleased to meet you!

[Holy shit. He'd been so excited to meet her when he and Apollo were talking about it, and for a while he thought he'd never get to do so. First just by being in space for so long, and then what he found out a week ago... But here she is! Trucy Wright! The Trucy Wright!]

Ha... hahaha! You're Trucy Wright! You're really -

Sorry - I'm Clay! Clay Terran! Apollo's my best friend!

[You know, in case Apollo didn't mention him, which is cool by him. Apollo's always been extremely private about his personal life, that's just the way he is.]

[ Holy shit indeed... Clay Terran is...

...just fine. He's standing right here in front of her despite the fact she knows he is, in fact, deceased. Maybe she's dead, too. Except she doesn't remember dying...

Her inner confusion is masked very, very well as she flashes Clay a huge grin, because despite all of this, it's nice to finally meet the man who Trucy's heard so much about at home after his untimely demise. ]

WHOA! Clay Terran... I never thought I'd get to meet you! Polly says nothing but good things about you... I can't believe you're here! This is pretty fitting, though, if you ask me! Being a super cool astronaut and all... I feel like I'm meeting a huge celebrity! You practically are!

[And Clay being Clay, he has no idea about her confusion. Though he does wonder at what point she came from, was it before or after his... well. Still, that thought is brushed away by pure excitement. Apollo actually did talk about him! And omg she thinks he's super cool. There's a little blush of happiness on his cheeks as he gives a huge grin right back at her.]

Nah, you're the celebrity here! I've heard so much about you from Pollo; I've always wanted to meet you!

[Oh hey, she's not on the Marsiva, so that means...] Hey, what ship are you on? I want to actually meet you!

[ Whatever brief shock she'd been feeling is gone in lieu of the excitement of finally meeting someone she'd been positive she'd never get to see period. At this point, she's practically bouncing up and down from her excitement. ]

R-really?! Haha, he probably complains about me a lot, huh? --Oh! I'm on the SS Paisley apparently! That's a really cute name, if you ask me... hey, wait, isn't Paisley a color or pattern or something? Does that mean the outside of the ship is colored like that!?

No, no way, he always said good things about you!

[Well, okay, there were complaints. But they came from a place of fondness, and Clay knew it. And she's on the Paisley, great ship to be on! Clay's already getting ready to go; honestly, he'd be like this with Apollo too if he was brought onto a ship as fast as Trucy was.]

Nah, though that'd be really cool if it was! You're with a couple of my friends over there; they'll treat you really well, I promise!

Wow... that's pleasantly surprising!

[ Trucy's still oblivious of the red clad attorney's presence -- as a matter of fact, she's still slightly convinced she's been killed if she can be quite honest...

She tilts her head a little, before grinning again and happily clapping her hands together. ]

It would! Oh man, I wonder if they'd let me paint the outside... probably not. Actually, I don't really know how to paint, so it'd probably look like... um, stick figures and not actual paisley-- I am!? NEAT! I'm glad, that makes me happy!

That's a stellar idea though! You should bring that up with the captain; maybe you guys can make it a project!

[Walkin, walkin, walkin faster]

Though you'd have to be careful about what kind of material to use; regular paint will just fly off at the speeds we go sometimes, and it can really weigh down the ship! You might want to use some kind of insulating foam so that it sticks on better.

That would be awesome, and... and I think I'm going to have to do that.

[ Clay no don't put ideas in her head DON'T DO IT ]

Ooo, insulating foam, huh? That's a really good idea! Maybe I can find the glitter kind, too. Because who doesn't like glitter? And glow in the dark! I know there's glow in the dark insulating foam somewhere out there... I'm not gonna rest until I find it!
