Who: Trucy Wright and YOU!
Broadcast: Video; Fleetwide
Action: Yes, on the SS Paisley!
When: 9/16..... RIGHT NOW!
A - Fleetwide video
[ As the feed to the network connection comes online, people watching will notice it's nothing but a dark screen at first. Perhaps something is wrong with the network? A few seconds later, however, something happens: the lights flicker on (really, Trucy would have preferred a spotlight, but she's got to work with what she's got!) and there stands a teenaged magician, standing at all 5'0"; despite her small stature, she sure looks confident. She flashes her audience a dazzling smile. ]
Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Pleased to meet your acquaintance! So, it's been brought to my attention that I am no longer in Los Angeles, but... well, space! Don't get me wrong, this is pretty cool! But see, I've kind of got a job back on Earth. And school. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure daddy and Polly are going to destroy the office without me-- oh, wait! I haven't properly introduced myself, have I?
[ Another smile, even brighter than the first, and there's suddenly a small poof of white smoke in her right hand. When the smoke clears, there's a golden wand in her hand. She twirls it between her fingers a few times, before stopping to tip her hat with her free hand, the other moving to her hip despite the baton in her grasp. ]
Magical Girl Trucy Wright reporting for duty! Although, you all can just call me Trucy, okay? Pleased to meet each and every one of you! So, whose up for answering a few of my questions, hm~?
B - Action aboard the SS Paisley
[ Despite the video feed she's just made, Trucy can at least admit to herself she's a little confused and even nervous -- especially because one second she'd been on a completely different ship. She's even gone and pinched herself a few times to make sure she isn't dreaming.
Despite her slight inner turmoil, outwardly she's still wearing a bright smile as she wanders the corridors of the SS Paisley, still twirling the baton from her earlier broadcast between her fingers as she walks, pudding cup in the other hand, whistling a cheery little tune to herself. A true performer never allows their smile to fade or show their true inner feelings, after all.
Besides, there's confetti and pudding cups. Chocolate pudding cups, at that. Who can beat that? She's rounding the corner, and nearly bumps into someone -- that someone being you! ]
Whoa, sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going, oops...

[HE'LL FIND YOU TRUCY, DON'T YOU DARE. The question surprises him tho, and his expression is a bit more serious, but confused. He wasn't expecting that kind of worry.]
Wha. . .what? No way, what brought this on? Did something happen before you woke up here? I mean, admittedly my memory was fuzzy at first, but I very clearly remember being back home safe and sound after that last case.

[ She grins, and in yet another poof of white smoke, there they are in all their magic panty glory. She laughs and shakes her head, waving her hands at him nonchalantly despite the need to flail about Clay and ask Apollo about him. ]
No, no, I was just... it's just a theory, you know? I mean, we don't know, right? [ ...Maybe Apollo hasn't seen Clay yet. ] Er... yeah, that's what I remember too... don't worry about it, okay? I'm sorry I asked such a silly question.
no subject
Okay, there we go. Look, you're not asking a stupid question. I mean, all this is hard to believe as is. . .I haven't really explored much, and cooped up in my room thinking about it all.
I don't think we're dead though. If that was the common thread everyone here shared, I feel like someone would have informed us. Also, people are paid a living wage. If we were truly dead, why would who ever is in charge try to reward us? Just getting a second chance at life would seem good enough, don't you think?
[. . .not that he thinks that. A beat, then he frowns.]
But it's not impossible for the dead to come here. I know that for a fact already.
no subject
It could happen. If we were dead, it makes sense why we can't see the cameras! Maybe it's like... an afterlife reality show. Huh, that means being dead must be super boring, no wonder Pearls doesn't have any trouble channeling spirits, they must be bored out of their minds--
[ That last bit gets her to stop, and now she does fidget. ]
....Yeah, I... that's why I was asking. Um, I... I met Clay. Please don't get mad at me for bringing him up, or think I'm crazy, but it's true!
no subject
Why would I be upset about that? [Maybe because he went rogue and was generally crazy upset the whole time?? Okay yeah. He rubs the back of his head awkwardly.] I mean. . .I saw him too, I know he's here. Alive and well. Somehow. . .I couldn't believe it.
[A frown; it still really bothers him. He's happy, sure! But Clay's a walking reminder of a tragedy back home. He shakes his head though, that's not important right now.]
But this is a show where the impossible is possible! Without proper proof, you can't assume you're dead too, Trucy. Do you really think Mr. Wright would ever let anything happen to you? Or Athena? And me, too! C'mon!
no subject
[ Oh, boy. Here we go... ]
'A show where the impossible is possible', exactly. That just adds to my point... this could very well be the afterlife and some... weirdo dead people TV show. I know you're right, but accidents happen. I mean, for all I know, Aura killed me back at the Space Center... although, to be fair, she really wasn't that threatening.
[ Heaving a sigh, the magician shrugs her shoulders and smiles again. ]
You're probably right, though. I guess we just need to do some investigating, hm?
no subject
[Said a bit snappily. Oops, who regrets all his rogue actions, THIS GUY!! Though that does spark some questions.]
. . .wait, is that the last thing you remember? Being at the Space Center?
no subject
[ YEAH WELL.... she's forgiven him for it, but still. Her cheeks puff out for a moment, before she shakes her head. ]
Er, no... well, yes? Sort of. We were about to be released.
no subject
Ah.
[He does that thinking pose he does. Something isn't adding up.]
Trucy, before I came here, it'd be days since that case was wrapped up, and they'd relaunched the shuttle at the Space Center. Aura even turned herself in. You don't remember any of that?
no subject
[ A brow arches, and she shrugs again. ]
Nope... I mean, I didn't stick around to see her turn herself in. As soon as I knew we were released, I started headed to the courthouse to meet up with you guys... and then I was here.
no subject
. . .
W-wait. You're not hurt or anything, are you? Were you wou--[Wounded, he almost says, but then he glances off screen and to his arm. All the wounds from the bombing were completely healed, with just some light scarring left behind. What if it's the same for everyone?]. . .
[Nope nope NOPE, he shakes his head.]
Trucy! There's no way you're dead! There's no proof at all, and I'd never let that happen!
no subject
...
No, I'm okay! I'm okay, really -- the last thing I remember is being in a mad rush to get out of the Space Center so I could get to the courthouse to check up on you and to make sure daddy knew I was safe.
[ ...She thinks, at least. Maybe she's wrong, though. Maybe she's not remembering correctly? She blinks at his outburst, before smiling once again. ]
I know you wouldn't! So, don't worry about it anymore, okay? Let's just focus on the here and now.
[ She sounds pretty confident at that, but she's just not sure. More investigation and questioning is going to have to go down. ]
no subject
[He still feels at least partially to blame; he did prolong the situation for his own motives. But if Trucy's not going to press it, he won't either.]
Nngh. . .
You say that as if worrying isn't my default setting. . .but, I'll prove it to you. Eventually, somehow. In the meantime, I can't get to the ship you're on at the moment. [Or any cuz HAHA Apollo on a shuttle, he hasn't quite mustered up the courage for that yet. At least with a plane there's ground underneath you eventually. But space? Nope.]
no subject
[ A brow arches, and her smile turns far more playful suddenly. She knows about his phobia, after all. ]
Do you want me to come to you, then? Or would you rather wait until tomorrow to meet up?
no subject
Well, a conversation for later. He shakes his head.]
I don't know if you can come to me. I was stuck on that big ship for a few days. . .but we definitely need to meet up. And you should settle in--there are a lot of decent people here, at least.
no subject
[ Might as well, right? She taps her cheek again in thought. ]
Yeah, everyone I've spoken to is super nice! AH! That... that reminds me! Did you meet the adorable pink pony?!
no subject
. . .
And no, I think I would remember an "adorable pink pony." I don't think there are horses in space, Trucy.
no subject
...
There are ponies in space, Polly. She is pink, and she talks, and her name is Pinky Pie, and she's my new best friend.
