Who: Fingon
Broadcast: Accidental fleetwide.
Action: S. S. Huntress
When: Early 9/18

{It's useful to be an Elf who didn't need much rest. And even when Fingon does rest, it's never easily thanks to memories that he's yet to address. So he sews. His grandfather spoils him and gave him enough cloth for a couple robes, and that's precisely what he's working on. Spread out around him in his small bunk are various bits of ribbon, thread, and lots of cloth, all of which are coming together under his skilled fingers.

The Elf has a light on, of course, but even with it his own natural faint glow is there if one looks. Black hair is braided back, and he's humming quietly as the needle darts in and out of the vibrant blue cloth in his lap. He doesn't want to disturb his mortal crewmates, after all! That would be rude. The song is an old one, for those who know Arda and its music, of brighter, more innocent days.

It's impossible to not realize he has no idea he's being observed.}

My, what a pleasant tune. You've quite an ear. Though I do wonder what has you up at these hours. Sewing?

Another perceived to be better does not diminish the extent of your own talent. For whom are you sewing?

[Robin can't help but grin. She does appreciate modesty, so long as it isn't demeaning.]

You've quite a bit of family, haven't you? How many of them are here in the fleet?

I have no family, nor homeland. But there is one here who is as close to a sister as I'll ever get, and for that, I am grateful. I believe I've met a few members of your family. Maglor, as you mentioned. The bard, no? And one whose name I never did catch. He complained about not being able to find pants soon after I arrived. Are you a demi-giant as well? Is that why you sew?
