Who: Sorey
Broadcast: Huntress only!
Action: Iskaulit & Huntress
When: 9/16

Huntress crew, this is your first mate, Sorey. ...due to certain circumstances, we are currently without a Captain. I'm acting as Captain now to fill the role, but if there are any interested parties, please contact me at your soonest convenience.

In the meantime, if there's anything that requires tending to, please don't hesitate to let me know. Any supplies we're short on, any concerns you may have about the status of the ship...I know we're at full capacity now, so if we start taking on extra passengers again we'll have to double up. And I'm also the ship's engineer, so please bring any technical problems you have to me.

...thank you...to everyone who has been looking after the ship for the past couple weeks.

[Sorey can be found both in engineering on the Huntress and at the Interfaith center on the Iskaulit. If your character can sense spiritual power and has run into him before, they may notice him lacking his usual protective/cleansing domain.]

We didn't go too far, really, just one zone to the next. But they worked such long hours that they had to keep the commute time down, otherwise we'd never see each other.

[It was such a mixed blessing, those days between jobs- she had the most fun having her family around all the time, but there was always that lingering worry of where the next job would be, how they'd pay for everything. It's part of why she'd wanted to work with them in the first place.]

We did spend a few years waaaaay out in the country, though, when I was little.

[Ochako offers up a grateful smile, scooping out a handful of her rice-mix and demonstrating out to wrap it around the filling while she answers.]

I feel like I should say the country... Daddy grew up there, and I was actually born outside of town, myself. But... I kind of love the bustle of a big city! There's always stuff to do, and there's so many people you could meet... I really like it.

Yeah, exactly! Even if you live there for years, there's still new stuff to discover. Right before I left for school I found this super-cute tea shop that made the best bubble tea dirt cheap. Turns out I'd gone to school right around the corner and never noticed it before then!

[She doesn't look the least bit bothered by the messiness. Her mochi were far from perfect when she first started learning. They're moving along at a good pace and they look halfway tasty, that's what matters.]

Uh-huh. And I think it's easier to meet people in cities, too. The country can be hard to get around and people often live far apart, but in a big town there are people everywhere you look!
