Who: Anyone who wants to hang on the Iskaulit
Broadcast: nah
Action: Iskaulit mingle, darlings
When: All day every day (at least for the month)

[We're drifting, so it's a perfect time to make use of the many fine establishments on our common ship.]

I've read T.H. White, you know that. And how is that kind of comment meant to make me read Hemingway? [A brief pause.] Well, I meant more that Dracula was on the communicator, and I gave Hank back the books he lent to me.
axiomed: (You have to)

Just try and look into something non-monster related.

I mostly read non-fiction. [He's not going to rise to the comment. He'd read Dracula because he recognised the title. Whatever Charles's thoughts on his reading habits, Erik doesn't seek out those kinds of books.]
axiomed: (Now I'm ready for you)

[ Charles idly wonders what happened to the Frankenstein book he gave Erik. Probably lost somewhere.

. . . Unnecessary. ]

I always liked the Double Helix. And Meditations.

Would this library have much from home?
axiomed: (Pictures in your head at night)

It never hurts to look. Earth is still a fairly common denominator.
exothermia: (Oh damn. He's dead.)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-09-24 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. And if not, everything will be new. [There were few books he'd owned in his life. Most had been left behind or lost along the way. The ones that still existed were still at home, out of reach.]
axiomed: (They could talk all night)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-09-24 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's always a nice feeling. To know something new still remains.
exothermia: ('Cause all will be okay; you'll see)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-09-24 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
I think that will always be the case, while we're out here.
axiomed: (No strings attached between you and me)

Anywhere, really. The world's a big place.
exothermia: (We are the fourth dimension)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-09-24 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
[It is. He doesn't much care about it at the moment, though. His world is here.]

Well, I'll be starting with the bookshelves.

[ He smiles. ]

Try to leave the library standing.

[Erik unfolds his legs, getting to his feet at last.]

I will. How else will I find anything in there?
axiomed: (What you don't say)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-09-24 11:33 am (UTC)(link)
I believe in your ability to improvise.
exothermia: (Life rolls on)

[Ha. He smiles and touches his hand to the back of Charles's chair as he heads out.]

Good luck with the lecture topic.
axiomed: (Let me cross a very fine line)

Goodbye, Erik.
