I mostly read non-fiction. [He's not going to rise to the comment. He'd read Dracula because he recognised the title. Whatever Charles's thoughts on his reading habits, Erik doesn't seek out those kinds of books.]

It never hurts to look. Earth is still a fairly common denominator.

Yes. And if not, everything will be new. [There were few books he'd owned in his life. Most had been left behind or lost along the way. The ones that still existed were still at home, out of reach.]
