(no subject)

Who: Anyone who wants to hang on the Iskaulit
Broadcast: nah
Action: Iskaulit mingle, darlings
When: All day every day (at least for the month)

[We're drifting, so it's a perfect time to make use of the many fine establishments on our common ship.]
exothermia: (The world goes round)

I think so too. [Erik's calmer than he was before he started taking the lessons. It had helped to keep a routine, something to anchor him through the tumultuous first days and weeks back.]
axiomed: (Please put me at ease)

I'm glad. Truly.
exothermia: (Standing still)

[He lets out a breath, smiling briefly.]

[ He smiles before ducking his head. ]

It's nice that we have the Iskaulit, at least.
exothermia: (Everywhere I go)

I can't imagine what it was like before this ship was brought in.
axiomed: (The days and nights)

I'm sure some of the others would know.
exothermia: (Nobody walks beside you?)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-10-04 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. [He passes his gaze over the plants, feeling the faint breeze from the ship's air ducts.] I don't much care to find out, though.
axiomed: (My head and my heart)

I suppose it doesn't really matter.

[ Like the library. Or Kyriakos. ]
exothermia: (Oh damn. He's dead.)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-10-04 09:57 am (UTC)(link)
[It was before their time here, and he feels no need to think about how cramped it would have been before a communal ship was available. It serves no purpose for him, other than to make him uncomfortable.]

It doesn't, no. It's not the case now.
axiomed: (Lay your head on my chest)

[ He nods. ]

I suppose space could never be called ephemeral, compared to a planet or some distant star. Sometimes, I find it to be a strange juxtaposition, the way change or lack of it clashes.
exothermia: (Is will I die today?)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-10-05 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
No. Space will be around long after everything else is gone.

[He pulls a leaf off a nearby plant, rolling it between his fingers.] The more things change, the more they stay the same. [It applies to a lot of things; darker things, that he won't raise here.]
axiomed: (You mean nothing to me anymore)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-10-09 09:31 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe so. But you can always change things for yourself.
exothermia: (Gotta keep on running)

[personal profile] exothermia 2016-10-09 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Some can, yes. Others try and only fail at it.]

Within reason. [He drops the leaf.]
axiomed: (Now I'm ready for you)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-10-09 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
[ The line of thought Erik follows is obvious. Charles looks away. ]

Of course.
