[We're drifting, so it's a perfect time to make use of the many fine establishments on our common ship.]

Quite. [The moment between them seems to have flitted off, away across the strange courtyard in space. Monty looks down at the magical spell still in his hand and offers that to Tempest.] If you'd like this back?

[she blinks, having forgot she was still maintaining it. With another wave of her hand it vanishes, the warmth from it remaining for a second or two more]

I nearly forgot.

[Monty curls his fingers for a moment, looking down at his palm where the flame had been. She's still extraordinary, even if there's this strangeness now for his song.]

I... well, thank you, then. I'm sorry for interrupting you so abruptly at the start, Tempest.

Again, there is no need. Aside from . . . differences, we had a lovely conversation. I do hope that it has not chased you away from future conversations.

N-no! Of course not. [She's inviting him to a future conversation? There's a slight blush that paints his cheeks, and he smiles at her again, expression widening after just a moment.] I should very much enjoy speaking with you again. I shall... try not to sing, if it's a bother.

[why are you blushing!! She pretends not to notice, because otherwise she'll just look stupidly confused]

It is not a bother, but if you would not mind refraining . . .

[Pleasure at her invitation, of course!!!]

I don't mind. You might just need to remind me. Do feel free to interrupt. The music can sweep one away, on occasion.

I did want to take a look around the rest of the Iskaulit, if you've any recommendations on where to visit.

I enjoy the bars here, and spend a lot of my time in either of them. Though the one that is not as bright is a little more preferable. There is a library as well, if you enjoy reading.

I love reading. I imagine I might find one of my friends in the library, as well. Could you point me in the right direction, perhaps?

[she sits up a bit straighter, gesturing down the walkway]

[Monty nods and hesitates, considering taking her hand to give her a kiss. Considering the awkwardness caused by his singing, though, he's not inclined to press matters.]

[He stands and bows low to Tempest, instead.]
