video | IM GONNA WRECK IT
Who: Kanda and yu you!
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Marsiva only.
When: Early Tuesday morning.
[There's a cranky nineteen-year-old staring down through the feed. The feed is upside down. Someone should probably tell him.]
Where is it?
[It's not a question, it's a demand.]
My sword. Where is it?
[He leans in, blue eyes taking over the feed.] Who are you supposed to be? Some other division? [It's not the first time he's been locked up in a lab. If this is supposed to terrify him, it's not working.] You're testing me, then.
Hope you don't have anything important in here. There won't be anything left when I'm done.

[Like. Almost as long as Kanda's been alive?]
What the hell kind of place is this?!
no subject
It'll be nine in a couple months.
[So. Yeah. As long as you've been alive bro]
Well technically I got stuck in another place for the first seven years. Then I got dragged here. This place is supposed to some kind of...entertainment show for people to watch. Apparently in the future, entertainment is kidnapping people and watching them run a fleet of spaceships.
no subject
Nine years since this whole thing started for you. [He mutters something that sounds suspiciously like 'shit' under his breath.] Have you gone back at all?
no subject
[...]
The last time that happened was a few years ago. And honestly considering everything that was going on, and someone told me I'd been missing for three months back home, I...
Well, it seemed safe to assume there likely wouldn't be another visit home.
[The 14th was awake, he had gone against the Order, the Noah clan were after him....Allen was tough, a survivor... but even he knew impossible odds.]
no subject
[A fair assumption to make. With the awakening and all of that... and how Allen had been on the run. Yes, he has every right to assume he's basically dead.
But this-- this is a tiny smile, if Allen's looking for it.]
Don't give up yet. You're still you.
[Even if Allen isn't using video function for some reason, it's definitely Allen.]
-- Anyway, there are bigger things to worry about. Everyone is scrambling around, trying to capture that priest guy... Tiedoll said I can help you out as long as I'm with the Order.
[There's a few implications with that, the most forward of which being: Kanda won't let Allen get locked up again.]
no subject
"You're still you"...that alone lets him exhale a breath he didn't know he was holding. It had been a fear, that someone would come and tell him that Nea had won. He's not at all sure what to make of the new information that he is still alive, especially when he's built a life here, but...it's good to know it's not the worst yet.
But it's Allen and this is Kanda, so he can't help but be a little tsun]
Who...Who said anything about giving up? I wouldn't have made it nine years if I'd given up!
[But right, anyway- subject change. He clears his throat.]
...General Tiedoll probably just said that because he misses you. [What a sentimental and doting master you have, so weird. But Allen doesn't need the reassurance that Kanda wouldn't hand him over. There was no doubt about that]
But right...some priest that's...Innocence?
no subject
Sounds like him, yeah. [Tiedoll has always treated his apprentices like his own children. He's soft and artistic, just like he looks. Also kicks a LOT of ass.]
I guess you haven't met him yet. He looks like a normal guy, but just being around him makes Innocence go out of control... especially for you. [It's causing Allen a lot of pain. A lot of pain. It's difficult to watch.] I don't know his name, but...
[It's okay, the priest can't hurt him. He takes a breath.]
You can't let him touch you. He can change your memories or he can kill you from inside. With one hand. Even with my regeneration, it... it was bad.
no subject
Shit...was this some new experiment from Central? Or something else? He's really not sure what to think]
Okay...stay away from the Innocence priest. Got it.
[The chances of him showing up here are very low, he reminds himself as he subconsciously grabs onto his left arm. And so, he tries to push that aside. He can think about it another time. So he'll try to think of another topic, a more relevant topic.
...]
As for your sword, Atroma probably confiscated Mugen.
[Yeah, that'll distract Kanda]
no subject
Christ, what a mess.
The mention of Mugen makes his face scrunch up in a fairly unattractive way.]
Confiscated it, huh.
[He rolls up his sleeve and glances at his arm. The stigmata is still clearly there. He considers slashing his arm open on camera, but that seems like a great way to get his sword confiscated again-- not to mention, you know, Allen would flip his shit entirely.]
I have some ideas.
no subject
Wrecking the Marsiva doesn't do much good. A lot of people have tried.
[Lots and lots of people]
But yes, when a person arrive they take their weapons. It's stupid. It's not like they block people's powers or stop us from buying weapons elsewhere. They didn't even confiscate Crowned Clown, but that's probably because it's part of my body. I can't imagine it's the same for Equipment-Type though.
no subject
[At least he's honest.]
-- They don't keep you from getting new weapons? That's stupid. What's the point of...
[He shakes his head once, closes his eyes.]
I guess there was one other thing I forgot to mention.
[Aaaand he holds out his forearms for Allen to see. Two little crosses burrowed into the skin-- at least until he rolls his sleeves down.]
no subject
[Yeah. It's been awhile, but he recognizes those markings. Hard not too when Lenalee had them]
Crystal-Type...?!
[DA FUQ]
no subject
[He... decides not to mention he was in the process of possibly Falling when Tiedoll came to get him. Then again, could've been the priest. Who knows.]
... So, how many Akuma are here?
no subject
...You drank it, didn't you.
[Kanda that's seems like an unsafe thing to do, and that's coming from someone who occasionally rips off his own arm to use his weapon]
Currently? None.
no subject
None? None at all? [wtf] So the dragon just came out of nowhere?
no subject
[May be judging a little.]
None, there's no Earl to make any. [As for that question? Well...] The dragon came from an accident on a planet in the last system. I think something mixed badly with dark matter there and created a crude Akuma in the form of a dragon. I didn't get all the details, really.
[It's a lie. Maybe if it was Lenalee or Lavi, he'd be more forthcoming. But he can't deny him and Kanda have had a rather...rocky relationship regarding him being a Noah, so he wasn't about to throw Mikleo and Sorey under the bus.]
no subject
In the end, he decides he doesn't give a shit either way because it's taken care of. If another Akuma pops up it's whatever. He'll slice it to bits.]
I see.
[Yep, that's all he has to contribute to the conversation.]
-- Tell me one thing, Beansprout.
no subject
It's Allen.
[In other words, go ahead.]
no subject
... Are you--
[-- god, this sounds too much like caring.]
... happy?
no subject
Uh-
Are you feeling alright, Kanda?
[Drinking that Innocence must've damaged his brain. That's it. ]
no subject
Of all the times for you to be an idiot--
[AUGH]
Never mind. Forget I said anything.
no subject
Oh crap- wait. Was Kanda actually asking? Was he showing concern about his well being and Allen just missed it? Whoops better say something quick-]
I-
[Was he happy? It was a complicated question for seeming so simple, especially from someone at home who just threw him a lot of information he still has to process.]
...I miss you all. The Order- not...all of it- but the Exorcists, Komui and all of them. [The people who treated them like someone, anyway]
But... yeah ... I have been. [Which he sounds guilty about, after hearing everything going on. Why should he be happy when all his comrades weren't? ]
no subject
When Kanda gets a real answer, though, he refrains from commentary. There's no derisive snort, no disparaging remark. Just a quiet acceptance. If they find a way home, then--
-- well, Kanda's already decided.]
All right.
[That's what he needed to hear, and he's happy to move onto other things.]
Nine years, huh. You don't sound any different.
no subject
But he's not going to push into that "all right". He's not entirely sure what it means, but on the other hand he's not really sure about how he feels about his answer. It's the truth, sure. He's built a life here. But it's not like he wanted to write off his world either. Just...argh. It's too confusing right now. Let's not think about it right now and move onto...
Great. A more irritating topic.]
Ah...yeah.
Something about these places freezes your physical aging. So...
[Y e a h. Still a Sprout.]
no subject
[He huffs quietly.]
I wonder if that's a good thing.
