In the cockpit
He pursed his lips together as he put everything together, one piece at a time. Testing things with the knobs, twisting them this way and that, to get different wavelengths.]
Re: In the cockpit
[Furiosa leans back against the console and watches him for a moment. There's a comforting familiarity about tinkering: it reminded her of the War Rig, those long, careful hours she had spent installing her kill switch and ferreting away weapons with thoughts of going home.]
Any luck, yet?

Though his words get left unspoken when he sees Tyrion plugged in like that to what's his console. Or rather, used to be. Will used to be in a moment, anyway.]
Need help with... whatever it is you're doing?
no subject
There you are! Good, I need someone who understands this equipment better. I am trying to backtrack that signal that blocked us, not so long ago.
no subject
[In which case there isn't really much they can do with it unless he happened to pick up the signal frequency before the thing was shut off. And even then, who knows.]

shuttle bay; at some time after visiting jojen
She's standing next to the shuttle, inspecting the outside and going through a checklist to make sure it's safe. Being so new to the concept of technology, the young engineer is familiarizing herself more and more with it. She may not be a pilot, but she can at least learn how to make sure this thing stays in working condition.]

You're Meera, Jojen's sister, I take it?

I am. My thanks for allowing me on board, Captain.

Make sure to check out your hydraulics levels.
no subject
I've only just learned what those are, but my thanks.

You are quite welcome. I myself was rather clueless on how such mechanisms worked when I first arrived -- and I am happy to share my experience.

nah this is for when she gets there ok shhh
He's anxious, the thought of her on another ship makes him nervous. The thought of her on another ship with the Greyjoy makes him even more nervous. So when he sees her, it isn't her imagination that he relaxes just a skosh. ]
works for me~
It's a relief to see him as well. And it's without words that she barrels up to him to give him the most sisterly hug she absolutely could muster without breaking him. He's alive and well and in person. It's all she could ask for really.]
no subject
Has he given you any trouble? [ So much for a well met or a hello. They're the words he speaks as he pulls back from the hug to stare into her eyes, watching her with a gloomy look, like he's expecting the worst. It's not that he doesn't know his sister cannot protect herself, but that does not mean one does not worry. It's even more nerve-wracking when he knows he can do little to protect her. ]
