... Is the device key? I mean, the whole that was in there? [He looked thoughtful, as he took his hands off the knobs.] You know, I had not thought of that.

It completely shuts down when its removed. That happened to the one on the Three Twins. I couldn't figure out how to get it back on, so I think something inside it just self-destructs.

[Admittedly he didn't try that hard since he was very distracted, but he did give it a bit of a go at least. It's still strange working on all this weird technology that he's never seen before and yet knowing exactly what he's doing.]

Is that so? Well then I might be able to rebuild it once I open it up ...

[Tyrion murmured, as he went to his toolbox to pull out said device.] Now, tell me precisely how it worked.

I couldn't get it to start up again, but maybe you'll have better luck.

[Adalwolfe leans against the wall, folding his arms casually.]

I have no idea how it works though, I just know it was spying and sending the broadcast somewhere.

[This isn't really what he came in here for but he can put off telling Tyrion he's transferring for a little bit, right?]

[He tapped his fingers against the console thoughtfully.]

So how did you discover it? And did you track it? How ... precisely could one do that?

Same as when everyone else did, when the Golden went off the sensors. We weren't able to track it and when it was removed, it went dead anyway. That's basically all I know.

[He shifts his weight, uncomfortable for his lack of helpful information.]

Sorry, I had other things I was dealing with at the time.

Ah yes ... Anders. How is he doing? Is he feeling better?

[Tyrion was still fiddling with the knobs. After all, he wasn't going to take any moments to waste. He wanted to know where that signal had come from.]

He is. He actually remembers me now.

[Adalwolfe can't help but smile at that, a sweet little expression that softens everything about his features. Clearly he doesn't realize he does this.]

Things are a little mixed up, having lived ten years in only a few days asleep, but I think he'll be able to sort it out with a little help.
