Ahh, [There is some adjusting of the camera before Remy gets it right, balancing it in just a way so he could place it down away from him and still leave it filming. It wasn’t a happy face that appeared on the feed this time around as he took a seat on a bed that wasn’t his own and in a setting that wasn’t his room.] Guess since no one has yet, up to me to break the bad news. Seems Rogue has left.

She, ah, [Oh, this was tough. He had gone around to annoy his best friend, having not had a chance to catch up of late, and had brought his three little annoyances in the form of the kittens along with him to meet her, only to find her room mostly empty of its items and no signs of her.] Well, seems she’s left a few things for people here. Kitty, Kurt, Clay, Winter, Loki. [He moves to pick the camera up again, turning it around onto the selection on the bed, including several books, a makeup set, her mpc player, a necklace. Some items have a note on them, others don’t.] I’ve kinda gathered them up ‘nd left them on her bed for ya’ll to pick up when ya able to.

[The camera turns back to him again as he throws on a smile, but it is rather forced, the angle of the camera showing Rogue's guitar she had gotten from the gifting tree resting over his legs.] Hopefully she’s gone back home ‘nd... well, not got caught up in ‘ny of this again. And, hey, she’s got a good home to go back to, I know, ‘ve seen her future. She does a lot of good work, really does her team proud, 'nd helps a lot of people out. Hell, saves the whole world. Kinda hard to beat that for a welcome home party.

Yeah petite, I am. [That pasted on smile slipped again, before vanishing completely as he spoke.] Wish I wasn't, but... [There was a shrug of a shoulder to finish that line up rather than any words.]

[She still wants to throw denial at it, but she relents for the moment.]

Are you okay? [Easier to focus on rather than trying to figure out how she's feeling about it.]

[Oh, yeah, this video was public, Remy almost forgot that. Forcing the corner of his mouth up into a touch of a smirk, he aimed it over the camera to her.] Well, wasn't what I was really hopin' to wake up today with.

No. [It makes him the last of the people from his world who were here when she arrived. She doesn't know what kind of relationship he has with Mystique. She knows he has people outside of them and even then there was some bad history with his past, but she doubts this is easy.]

She was one of the first people to welcome me here. [To make her feel accepted and connected to something.]

[That smirk gave way for a more real, softer smile.] She did the same for me back in the other place we were stuck. Directed me to town, since our then hosts dropped me off in the middle of a forest, up a tree, 'nd sat at the bar talkin' 'nd tryin' to help me figure out what was goin' on. Hell, did the same when I ended up here too. Was really nice to see a familiar face, 'nd one that actually remembered me too.

She's good people. Took me out to east on the station when I arrived. Knew how to get straight to my heart. [Kidding, but also not. It meant a lot to her to feel so accepted by all of them when she arrived and Rogue was maybe the easiest to relate to at first.]

Yeah, she good like- Ah merde, [There is a shake of his head and a touch of a grin as he speaks.] We're talkin' like she's dead or something. The femme's tough, wherever she be, she more than capable of handlin' it.

[She nods.] You're right. I'm just going to miss her. [And she knows Remy is too. She's not sure what the full extent of their relationship is, but she can't help thinking about how much her version loved Rogue even if it didn't work out for him.]

I'll come by to get the things she left me later.

I'll put them aside somewhere safe if I ain't 'round when ya do, petite. Will let Clay know they are here in case they get the room filled. [That thought was just as sad as the idea Rogue had left them gifts, that her room would so easily be replaced by someone else at any time.]

Thanks, Remy. I appreciate it. I have some other things I need to do first. [Plans to celebrate Rosh Hashannah and even meet up with Erik again. When did today get so full of things she wasn't expecting?]
