Ahh, [There is some adjusting of the camera before Remy gets it right, balancing it in just a way so he could place it down away from him and still leave it filming. It wasn’t a happy face that appeared on the feed this time around as he took a seat on a bed that wasn’t his own and in a setting that wasn’t his room.] Guess since no one has yet, up to me to break the bad news. Seems Rogue has left.

She, ah, [Oh, this was tough. He had gone around to annoy his best friend, having not had a chance to catch up of late, and had brought his three little annoyances in the form of the kittens along with him to meet her, only to find her room mostly empty of its items and no signs of her.] Well, seems she’s left a few things for people here. Kitty, Kurt, Clay, Winter, Loki. [He moves to pick the camera up again, turning it around onto the selection on the bed, including several books, a makeup set, her mpc player, a necklace. Some items have a note on them, others don’t.] I’ve kinda gathered them up ‘nd left them on her bed for ya’ll to pick up when ya able to.

[The camera turns back to him again as he throws on a smile, but it is rather forced, the angle of the camera showing Rogue's guitar she had gotten from the gifting tree resting over his legs.] Hopefully she’s gone back home ‘nd... well, not got caught up in ‘ny of this again. And, hey, she’s got a good home to go back to, I know, ‘ve seen her future. She does a lot of good work, really does her team proud, 'nd helps a lot of people out. Hell, saves the whole world. Kinda hard to beat that for a welcome home party.

[She wants him to be wrong even knowing confirmation is just a check of the roster away. Of course he's sure if he's announcing it and distributing her things. But she still wants him to say he was wrong or for Rogue to chime in to scold him for the prank.]

[Oh, yeah, this video was public, Remy almost forgot that. Forcing the corner of his mouth up into a touch of a smirk, he aimed it over the camera to her.] Well, wasn't what I was really hopin' to wake up today with.

No. [It makes him the last of the people from his world who were here when she arrived. She doesn't know what kind of relationship he has with Mystique. She knows he has people outside of them and even then there was some bad history with his past, but she doubts this is easy.]

She was one of the first people to welcome me here. [To make her feel accepted and connected to something.]

[Loki has no intention of speaking to anyone on this subject; it's too important to him. He simply walks up to the door and holds his hand out; the necklace flies to him and then he turns to go.]

[Looking up from the com at the moment at the door, Remy barely had time to lean out of the way of that projectile necklace, his gaze staying on Loki as he moved to leave. He opened his mouth to... what? Offer some sort of comfort or apology that the man's girlfriend had just vanished into thin air? Yeah, that... that didn't somehow suit, partly because they had never seen eye to eye, and also because Loki hardly was the type to take such words. He was too wrapped up in spikes and armor that Remy doubted anything he would have to say would penetrate it. Hell, the best he would get would be silence back, or a snide comment. The worse, well, the 'god' might try and zap him or something.

So Remy let him leave without a comment, instead keeping his guard over the item until they had gotten their new homes.]

Ah nah, I'll be fine. [Quite the opposite in fact, Remy liked to throw himself into distraction to deal with a problem, including work.] Everything might just be well marinated with a not so healthy dose of booze. [And humor. Humor was his key to coping.]

[Which is an oblique way of saying she doesn't much care if he feels the need to drink on duty.]

Yeah, I guess so. [Would Remy do the same? He wasn't sure, he didn't really have anything too personal that he wanted to gift others. Well, other than his cats now, and the guitar Rogue had left him. He would have to make sure that was kept in safe hands when he left here.

What would I do without ya, Jim? [There is a touch of a smile to go along with that, less forced than the one he had put on before, but was only barely there. Yet his tone was a little humorous, as if he was trying to lighten the whole thing. Humor and talking, two of Remy's coping mechanisms.] See ya in a bit.

[It may had been a touch more than 'a bit', leading more to the later half of the day before Remy showed up. He had been half tempted to drop the kittens back off on the Duck, but since Kirk had gone out of his way to mention he would get something for them it hardly seemed right to turn up without them. Plus, they had been a nice distraction, they having no idea what was going on and were just being typical space cats. He also had a green guitar in hand, the item Rogue had left for him. It seemed wrong to leave it in her room to pick up later since it no longer was her room.

Having let himself on board, Remy went looking around the Tourist before spotting Kirk, tapping his knuckles against the edge of the doorway.] Hey.

Sure thing. [Oh good, by that clear sentence it seems Kurt got to him before he had started drinking later on in the day, that was a good sign.]

I'll survive. [And Kurt was also possibly one of the best people on the Fleet to know that surviving and being ok were two very different things.]

[ This really fucking sucks. He really liked Rogue, and they were getting closer to something like friendship. Goes to show that nothing here is permanent. At the very least, he's surprised that he was thought of before she left, of all people. ]

It's as good as any of us can have, by the sounds of what the different universes be like. But she got a good family group 'round her, she does really well. [Really, Hank was right, trouble seemed to follow those with 'super powers'. Although it's kind of nice it wasn't just happening to mutants.]
