Who: Rey and HuxArmitage
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: For S.S. Bloodsport.
When: Monday evening.
Hold on. [The small voice is somewhat muted at first while a communicator is being turned this way and that.] I think we’ll be able to reach others with this -
[With the communicator finally facing the right way, the image of a small girl comes into focus. Her hair is in the same style she will wear when she is older and much of her clothing is similar too.]
Isn’t your name Armitage? Can I call you Armi?
That’s not my name though… [Another voice, this one also younger and uncertain can be heard then and when the communicator shifts there is a 5 year old with sharp blue eyes and orange hair. He’s wearing a fitted uniform of an Imperial officer though the only insignia is an armband around one arm bearing the symbol of the Galactic Empire. He still has some dust on his clothes, a small cut on one cheek but his expression is determined.] I just need to find the Commandant and the fleet before they leave.
Someone will know. [Rey has the simple trust of a child, though recently her trust has been badly shaken. Being left on a remote desert planet will do that to you. However she is three or so years older than her companion and she feels the need to take charge and soothe his worries.]
If anyone can hear, we’re looking for the...Commandant? I’m also looking for Jakku. [Though she really, really doesn’t want to go back there. But her family might come back and look for her.
She takes a deep breath.] I need to go back to Jakku, but I like it better here. Armi has been really nice and I don't see very many kids in the desert.
[The nickname is sticking and there is obviously a growing affection for the small boy.]

Do you know Jakku?
Text
Never heard of it
What is it?
Text
A planet. A desert planet.
Text
Why would you want to go to a planet that's all desert?
Text
My family left me there. I'm waiting for them to come back.
Text
Robin Hood does it all the time, and he's a hero
[Wow, okay. Terrible family right there.]
They left you in a desert?
That's rather mean of them
Text
[Something awful happened to cause it, no doubt.]
I dunno. It sounds mean and I don't like being there, but I know they'll come back, so
I'm fine.
Text
[And the subject of a certain movie from a very large animation company that's been combined with her story.]
Well, as long as you're sure
I doubt they'd mind if you took a break from all the sand, anyway
Text
[She has a strong morality.]
I hope so. I need to help my friend find his Daddy anyway.
What's your name?
Text
Rich people are generally very stingy with their money, not to mention selfish
That's why they're rich in the first place
I'm Renart, who are you?
And do you need any help looking? I happen to be very bored and have a very good nose
Text
I'm Rey! :) Nice to meet you, Renart!
Um that would be nice. I don't know where to start!
Text
It is nice to meet you as well, Rey (^・x・^)
Alright
From what little I know of the military, I imagine a Commandant would have to be somewhere important
Text
I like your cute faces!
Yeah. And protected. Maybe somewhere in the center of a ship?
Text
Thank you
They're foxes
Possibly
We have quite a few ships, though
Searching might be a game of hide and seek
Or Marco Polo
Text
Do you like foxes?
I don't mind games! I'm sure we can find him if we work together.
Text
[Thank you, Rey. She knows the first place to try and show them, because they obviously aren't finding this Commandant or taking her to Jakku.]
Of course
I am one, so it is only natural for me to
That's a good mindset to have
It would make sense to check the biggest ship we all have access to, no?
That is the Iskaulit
[Which totally happens to have some gardens and stuff kids would enjoy, not that there are any ulterior motives here, nope!]
Text
I've never met one before! [This is pretty exciting.] Where do you live? What's your home like?
[Wait, she needs to focus!]
How do I go there?
Text
Well, originally I am from Alsace-Lorraine in France
That's a country on Earth
The best country, of course
France is renowned for her culture, history, and cuisine
It's a lovely country
Lots of rolling fields
Forests
Old castles
Oh, we have smaller shuttles on our ship that can dock with the Iskaulit
Text
I wish I could visit. :( Do you miss it?
...can I fly one of them?
text
It's possible
If you aren't sure, I could help
I'm not doing anything at the moment
text
Um yeah. That would be good. I've only flown once or twice.
text
Alright
Which ship are you on right now?
text
Bloodsport...I think?
no subject
I'll be there soon
[She isn't particularly good at piloting, so it's a very good thing it's all mostly automated. She'll be sticking to her human body for the moment rather than her fox one, simply because it's easier to hit the buttons with fingers than paws.
The shuttle docks with the Bloodsport eventually, and a young woman with short black hair, two fluffy black ears and one extremely fluffy black and white tail steps out, looking around.]
