[After a tiny hoof smashes onto the starting button of this stationed device, the entire fleet can enjoy a blank footage of the Marsiva's hospitality deck. At least, for a few seconds. Shortly after, there's the tip of a blue, rounded hat and some antlers that show as Chopper jumps up and down to get a better grip.

Between noises of effort, his little voice might be heard.]

Come... on...! I'm almost... THERE! [Somehow, his hooves clamp onto the edge of the thing, and those antlers bring a tough face to follow! Okay, no, he's a tiny reindeer that almost looks like a Tanuki, but details. He's looking very determined as he stares down this camera, at least.]

Can anyone hear me? This is Chopper speaking! [There's no actual snail phones around here, so... Somehow he's able to recognize what this is for. He's not thinking on why for very long.] I don't really know where this place is, but I need to get back to my friends! They could be hurt!

[There's a small, contemplative and mumbley hum as he continues, bringing a hoof to his mouth as he considers.] But I guess any of you could be hurt, too... [That's worrying, all of a sudden. He looks concerned, and then determined, clenching his... hoof?? (how) at the camera.] If you are, don't worry! I'm a doctor, so I can help you out. Just let me know where you are!

[ Aaron's just kind of going through the list and then eventually shakes his head. ]

No, okay? I haven't seen pretty much anyone. Definitely nobody as, uhm, you. As you.

Oh.

[He's too heartbroken to realize how insulting that actually is. So instead, his shoulders sag a little and he tries not to look too discouraged. They're waiting for him, somewhere--! They're definitely looking for him!]

So... then you're alone? [That's a little sad.]

Alone and stuck.

[ For a teleporter, it's a fate more terrifying than death to not have an escape route. ]

Everybody on board is stuck.

So there's no way out?

[It makes sense when they're in space, but he does remember him saying something about other ships...]

Everyone is separated from each other?

I don't know. If what I've been seeing around is right, they're kind of like... crews? People are put into crews? Based on this thing that's in our heads.

[ Which is also terrifying and this poor guy has been barely holding together until it's safe to freak the fuck out about everything. ]

But... yeah. No way out. Trust me on that one.

THEN I'M SEPARATED FROM EVERYONE?!

[Sorry for the sudden volume, friend. Chopper holds his own head, looking like he's in incredible despair as he nears tears.]

But I just got to see them again! Noooo, this can't be happening! I want to go back!

[ Aaron reaches out to tip the kid over at the antlers. ]

You're not the only one! Grow up!

[He tumbles over because the tipping catches him off guard, and he is pretty unbalanced here, weight-wise... But the minute he hits the ground, he jumps back up and a little back, both of his little hooves raising like he's ready to fight.]

Don't push me! I waited two lonely years to see my friends again! I don't care if I'm not the only one, I'm upset!! Everyone has the right to be upset!

No they don't! Nobody likes crybabies, come on.

[ Haha... not even reacting to the raised fisticuffs. He's supremely unworried, because he is a terrible horrible cheater. ]

It's not going to help anything.

[Sniffling and biting back the rest of any tears, he looks at Aaron in determination.]

I'm not a crybaby!

Good.

[ Aaron gives the little child animal thing a thumb's up. ]

So... what are you?

[He's a little reluctant to be cheery after being pushed over, but he believes people, for the most part, so if he's changing the subject...]

I'm a reindeer. [He drops his hooves, blinking.] Isn't that obvious?

[ Aaron's head tilts like a confused puppy for a moment. Um. ]

No... Reindeers don't talk. So, no.

Most reindeer don't talk, but I do!

[Now, he's smiling again. He must be amazed at his speech!] I ate a fruit that let me gain human intelligence! So now I can speak, too.

[ Amazed is a good word for it. ]

A magical fruit? But... you're walking, too.

Other reindeer can walk, too!

[Ohoho, he's so clever, feel free to laugh at his joke about not specifying how many legs he's walking on.]

The fruit makes me part human! Sometimes I walk on all four legs, too. It depends!

[ Dammit, he walked right into that one. It stings and Aaron huffs irritably at it. ]

Part-human... That's—that's not how it works, is it?

Sure it is!

[As an example, he transforms into the most simple of his forms. He looks much more like a deer now, the right size and all. He's still got his hat on, but he's definitely on all fours, prancing around in a little circle.]

[ Aaron jumps back, staring in abject confusion and maybe some kind of weird kinship. Which is just more baffling. ]

You change shape?

Yes!

[Now he's just prancing in place, front legs fidgeting a bit in his excitement. He's amazed, right?! He thinks he's cool, right?!]

I have many different forms!

[ He does think it's cool but for not exactly the same reasons. ]

What kinds? Show me.

[Oh. Okay. Now that monster point is the only difficult one, he can probably do that...! He steps back a little, grinning.]

I'll do my best! I've been working hard to make this easier! [And then, he'll transform through all of his forms except monster point, which is that one on the furthest right.

By the time he's done, he's back in his normal form, flopping back into a seat with a heavy sigh. He's exhausted!]

I've never changed so much at once before! I'm tired, I'm tired...

[ And now Aaron is grinning. Wait, is that Aaron anymore? ]

WHOAAAAA!!

[Sitting up straighter, he fights off exhaustion to look incredibly impressed. Did he just change, too?!]

You can do it too! Did you eat a fruit, too?! But you're not changing into an animal, just more humans...

Why would I change into an animal?

[ Pfffffft. At least Aaron is obviously pleased that Chopper is impressed. ]

Nah, this is just how I am. It's my power.
