I found this huge nest of pillbugs the size of my foot and showed it to my friend! She's pretty happy right now. [and he's pretty filthy but also extremely happy] It looks like I owe you now, huh! What's this beard-growing potion's price?

Pillbugs. Even the bugs here are enormous?

[Oh lovely. If he sees one more giant spider... Adalwolfe shakes his head.]

No, don't worry about it! I just want to see if it works. Just rub it on your face where you want a beard growing, got it?

Oh I see, my payment is being your test subject? Hang on now. [look okay he's nice and sorta gullible but c'mon] I really don't want to test this on my face. What if the hair never stops growing? Or what if it's some weird color?

[wolfehawke]

What? No! Not a test subject, look.

[He takes the potion back for a moment and dabs some on his arm then thrusts his arm out for Sorey to see. Where he's rubbed the potion, his arm hair is significantly longer already, a full inch over the rest of his arm.]

It works on body hair, I just don't if it'll grow hair where there isn't any. I can't really test that.

[He's a sorta hairy guy, even if it's light so its somewhat hard to tell.]

I wouldn't just give you something that might turn you into a bear untested. What do you take me for?

Ahh, don't worry, I was gonna try it out anyway. I trust you. [gullible, yes, insanely trusting, more yes] Give it here! [First order of business; a soul patch. Let's get this show on the road!]

[Adalwolfe leans over to peer at Sorey's face, stroking his own trimmed beard for a moment.]

Looks like there's something... A bit of stubble, maybe? I can't tell under the dirt.

Oh, right. [Usually Mikleo is around, shoving his face into the nearest body of water whenever he gets too gross. Sorey pours some water from his canteen and gives his face a quick scrub before feeling at his chin. ...that could be stubble?] Ehhh...maybe I'm still too young?

Here, I've got hair on my legs, let's try there. [Sorey sits down and rolls up his pant leg to get at his shin, and he uses the potion to draw a smiley face on his shin.]

[Wolfe can't help but snort as Sorey unceremoniously drops to the ground and tests the potion out on his leg instead. Congratulations, Sorey. You now have a weird thick smiley face of hair growing on your shin. It looks kinda melty with the hair topping out at four inches.]

Well, I guess if you used it all over you've never be cold in winter?

Wah! Oh my gosh! [GRAB LEGGY, would you look at that!!!] That gets really long! [he'll cut it down in a second but lORD look at how long that is...!] I could braid this. If, you know, if I knew how to braid.

That's okay! Actually, I can think of another use for it. [It's kinda gross but more interesting than gross. Still, gonna take out his knife and just. Trim this down, ok.] I guess I'll just have to wait on my face growing hair the natural way.

For one, just my regular hair. [Sorey tugs at his bangs.] I've been trying to get my friend to try out growing his hair, but he said I should try it too. He can make his hair grow however he likes but I'd need help, soooo. [He grins and shakes the bottle cheekily.] Now he doesn't have an excuse!

Oh! Well, glad I could help, then! And I think you could actually pull off long hair pretty well.

[Maybe a bit feminine, but if he kept his bangs the same and then tied it in a braid or something.]

[The look on his face says it all.] Ahahaha, thanks! We'll have to see about that. [Sry this kid's been comparing himself to gorgeous people his whole life, there's no way that'll look good on him. [The doggo in question has long since vanquished his stick and has been waiting patiently for attention with his stumpy tail wagging like its on a motor. He looks up at the both of them expectantly. Once Sorey's attention is on him, Ser Drools foregoes obedience for cuddles and flops right up on Sorey to receive scratches and love.]
