Yes, it feels as if it weighs on me. [He didn't like it, it felt as if something was lurking but he couldn't put his finger on it. He didn't like that.]

The forest is wary and on edge. I do not wish to provoke it. At the same time- I've never felt anything like this.

Yes, I don't think we will get lost but this is a woods unlike any other I've been in.

We have visited a number of planets similar to this one, before your arrival. [He frowns, thinking.] I cannot say why it is that they feel so similar. Is it odd to speak of kindred worlds? That seems closest to what I mean.

Kindred how? The same type of energy and music in each world? [He had only ever known Arda, he was still getting used to visiting multiple planets.]

Hmm..the music here is strange, disjointed almost but I don't sense shadow. [He didn't sense darkness but that didn't put him at ease.]

Here, no. The other planets were not necessarily so benevolent.

Were you attacked? [Concern was the first thing he felt, looking at his grandson with worry. No matter how confident he was in Finrod's abilities, he would always worry as a grandfather first.]

No, I was not attacked. Nothing so overt. [He can't say he isn't touched by the worry, but it's unnecessary.]

Hmm, that is strange. I wonder if it's something that will happen again on another planet. If we are able to visit another one.

Oh, I am certain that we will. This place will not keep us here forever- whether or not it intends to.

Even if we may be here for some time, we are at least here together, grandson. That alone gives me hope.

It brings me hope as well, grandfather. It has been long since our family has had so many gathered together. [He almost says 'in peace,' but Finwe doesn't need to know that.] That, at least, is a blessing.
