[ the woods seen to go on endlessly, no hint of a meadow or clearing of any sort. the air is thicker, somehow, the deeper he ventures. there is no clear mission here, no destination in mind, only a sheer will to find out if there are people here, aliens. what the forest is hiding.

it all feels, at times, as if the Atroma had led them into a trap. Surely them walking around in the woods is not a very exciting notion. Unless something or someone else are already there, waiting for them, watching them.

the tingle in his spine says it all and he looks up -

well. he doesn't quite roll his eyes but there is some dryness to his tone. ]

[ he didn't attack, that's one thing but Steve knows better than to let his guard down. ]

[ he doesn't buy this entire god of mischief frolicking in the woods. If Loki is here, he has some sort of reason to be here, a merit. or perhaps a sense of curiosity. It's hard to know with someone who tells as many lies as he does truths. ]

[ As far as believing Loki, well. It's as complex as the God himself. Steve never believes him but also never doesn't believe him. He takes most of what Loki tells him with half a dozen grains of salt.

[ magic. he honestly can't tell the differences sometimes but the little he does know is enough to make him understand sometimes energies and magic, science and folklore are one and the same.

That would depend upon your definition of magics. [His? Not the same as that of humans.]

[ captain america or not, he knows he is hardly any authority on magic. Loki, however, annoying as he sometimes may be is perhaps one of the most knowledgeable beings on the fleet when it comes to that specific subject. ]

I would call it free, natural energy. Not of itself magic; magic is rather the act of alteration for which it could be used by one strong enough to grasp it.

I merely say the presence of the forests is similar, as are the energies. As of yet, I draw no conclusion of what might be cause, effect, or coincidence.

Well, whatever the energies in this forest are, the distress call was very real.
