[ finally, the one visitor he intended on having. brushing off his freak out as having to do with the ship being on the verge of becoming a fireball due to the momentarily system failing was difficult. he had texted winn a moment after that. out of everyone, he is the only one who might be able to understand just how weird this whole thing is.

[ it's said with concern. he knows he looked about as awful after he was attacked by sascha, and he also knows that everyone who was worried about him - had very good reasons to worry; he was a wreak.

[ most of their landings until now have been smooth. this one was nightmare material. he isn't ashamed to admit there was a girly scream coming from him a moment before he felt the shockwave. ]

[ that's just the thing, isn't it? the scientist in him is the one frustrated with all of this, with how little he understands what's going on. the scientist wants to find out where the energy came from and what it means.

Okay - we can start measuring. Whatever we got, aim it at the planet, and see if anything spikes, try to pinpoint what kinda energy we're dealing with.

[ he knows he can say comforting words from here to next week, but nothing he says would be nearly as helpful as an answer, scary as it may be. and he plans on being there with cisco every step of the way, so he'll never have to face whatever the answer is alone. ]
