Nine and a half months, and I've been on the Tourist the whole time.

I can't say it's all been bad, either. It's better than dragons and having to deal with civil conflicts left and right.

[She could be joking about the dragons, and yet she's not. Hell she could be joking about civil conflicts? But she's learned already the fact that things like that are a common thread no matter where you're from.]

Are there no dragons where you're from? They're a bit of trouble at times so I can't say I'd be disappointed if you escaped them somehow.

No dragons that I know of. Aliens, though? And megalomaniacs, but I assume those are everywhere.

Aliens? I think I read a book in the library about aliens once.

Oh yes, definitely. You'd think they'd be sprouting in the shrubbery.

Are you big into plants?

Not entirely? Some are useful to the medical bay, I'm sure. Aloe for burns, herbal leaves for other uses... where I'm from foliage is plentiful. We don't live off of food the same way that it's done here, either.

Oh! We have aloe, too. And our food isn't exactly the same but it's probably more similar than you're used to.
